The Academy

After a few minutes of checking out the apartment I thought of something. ' Since I'm one of the only Senju's alive will I have anbu following me? Plus where's Tsunade? You'd figure she would try to meet me since I'm from the same clan and now she isn't the only senju. Meh, anyways I have to go to the academy.'

After thinking that I remembered the way to the academy from my memories and opened the door to the apartment, and left. It was around 8 in the morning, so there were people already out and about doing their own thing. I noticed that some people looked at me and whispered to themselves about something, but nothing malicious. I thought ' Are they talking about me being a senju? I'm not that surprised really considering my clan was one of the main clans to make konoha.' Other than that nothing interesting happened on the way and I made it to the academy gates.

There were people coming in and out of the gates, old and young. Most people coming in and out were people of clans, but there were also a lot of people that were from civilian families there too. I walked in through the academy gates and followed what looked like other new kids to a courtyard that had a stage set up. On the stage were various chunin that had their flack jackets on. In front of the stages were various kids that were of my age in some lines. I went to a random line and waited.

When it looked like there wasn't anyone else coming, there was a sudden poof of smoke on the stage and out of it came the third hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen. Huruzen looked at all of us with a kind smile and a critical eye and scanned through the people there. Once he was done he spoke up and said " For many years great pe…" He started a long and boring speech about the will of fire.

While it was going on I heard a voice in my head that said ' Smart man, trying to brainwash kids while they're still young and impressionable with the 'Will Of fire.' I hope you know it's bs right?' I inwardly laughed and said ' Of course Fawkes I'm not that stupid.' Looking around I saw the other kids had stars in their eyes especially a rather skinny blonde haired kid.

When I saw him I sighed in my head ' So young and going through practically tourture because of something sealed inside him. They are acting like he is the fox incarnate while in reality he is just the person keeping it at bay. *Sigh* That's it, Imma ask him if he wants to share my apartment with me. I mean I think we're cousins or something now so it's the least I can do. Plus I may be able to stop the brainwashing that's happening so he can actually think right. I mean in the anime he wanted to become the hokage that is supposed to protect his citizens even after what they did to him. I'll make sure to at least stop the brainwashing so he can think for himself.'

I nodded and around that time the speech stopped. Sarutobi Hiruzen disappeared in another poof of smoke and then a chunin stepped forth. " Alright I'm going to call your names and you'll go to the chunin that steps forward…." Eventually everyone's names was called and I found myself in the same class with pretty much all the clan hiers and Naruto. ( Naruto may be from a clan but he's not in a clan now.) The chunin that was going to be our teacher until we graduate was Iruka sensei from the anime, and he led us to our class.
