Jay woke up feeling groggy the next morning due to sheer exhaustion and frustration. After doing his morning routine in a rather slow pace, slower than usual, he examined all the information he had on the case, including the stranger guy, aka Joseph Gregg.

Jay's head was basically going in circles at this point, because just when he thought he had a clue, boom, it leads him back to the beginning.

Seeing that his efforts were producing no good fruit, he decided to call William after breakfast to figure something else out.

After eating a couple soggy pancakes and orange juice, Jay decided to call William.

After about 5 minutes of brainstorming, William suggested they go back to the site of incidence, seeing as the evidence they had was leading them to a dead end.

They agreed on the plan, and in about 40 minutes, the both of them had arrived at the crime scene.

After surveying the place more thoroughly, Jay suggested they go home, and William nodded in agreement with him.

Just as Jay was about to leave the area where the caution signs where. He suddenly hit his leg on something rock hard.

After yelling in pain, Jay looked down at whatever it was he had hit is leg on, and what do you know? It was indeed a rock, a sedimentary rock to be exact.

While Jay was busy glaring at the rock, he noticed something next to the rock, it seemed to be faint. They were footsteps, and not just any footstep, they had an emblem on them.

The symbol on the floor, looked very familiar, but Jay couldn't quite put his finger on where he had seen it before.

When William came over, he examined the footstep, and said, voicing out Jay's thoughts "Hmm, that symbol on those footsteps seem very familiar, I just can't lay my finger on where I've seen it before, I feel like I see it everyday or something".

Jay decided to examine the area where the footsteps were, he saw that they lead to something blue, that was hidden under the ashy soil.

When Jay picked it up, he found that it was an id card, when he removed the dirt that was on top of it, there was a photo in it.

The photo was a portrait of Joseph Gregg.

When Jay saw it, he was dumbfounded, he figured that this was probably what the stranger was looking for last time he saw him there.

Jay concluded that the stranger was probably connected to the emblem some how, when he examined the id card more thoroughly, he found the same emblem that was on the floor on the back of the Id card.

"So, how exactly does any of this correlate to each other? " William asked after a stunned Jay kept on repeating the words; "emblem, Id card, Joseph" with a stunned expression.

After narrating everything to William, William was wearing a dumbfounded expression. But all of that didn't seem to last, because almost immediately after, he started reprimanding Jay for not telling him earlier.

Jay just covered his ears after collecting the evidence, and made his way over to his car, which earned him a scowl from William.

After several minutes of arguing, the duo decided to investigate more on Joseph, and had both concluded that this was probably what he was looking for, the last time they saw him in downtown Sangrove.

And the two pathedvways went home, with Jay facing a frustrating 2 hour traffic jam because of a concert, and getting home by 7PM.
