A few minutes later, Derek stepped out of the hospital. He had spent the last few minutes asking Gavin about their location.

"How do you suppose we get there?" he asked Daniel, who perched on his shoulder. The kid raised his paws, and a key dangled, causing Derek to smile.

He hopped into a black jeep, blue waves erupted, and the car entered the road. Within a few seconds, the jeep became lost in the sea of cars on the highway.

'Why isn't she answering?' he grumbled inwardly whilst a curious glow flickered in his eyes. Li Mei had not picked up any of his calls and she didn't call back. 

He saw twenty missed calls after he left the hospital and since then; he had been calling but no response. 

Something was definitely wrong with Li Mei and he would visit the HQ once he got back. 

Thirty minutes later, the jeep pulled up and Derek came down. Gazing at the building across the road, his silver brows knitted.
