Mathias grinned. “Took you long enough to come and join me.”

“I’m not. I came to tell you I’ve got a lead on Tatiana.”

He tensed, all thoughts of sex vanishing. “How? You’ve been stuck inside all day.”

Edmund cocked a single, thick brow. “It’s the twenty-first century, Mat. They’re called computers.”

“Tati doesn’t know a sodding thing about technology. How the hell did you find her with that?”

“Just because your girlfriend may not use them doesn’t mean businesses she has contact with don’t. And she likes her amenities, if I recall correctly. It looks like she’s been doing some high-rolling down on the Strip. As soon as the sun finishes setting, I’m going out to check on it.”

Mathias nodded in agreement. That made sense. “Well, undo me, then. We’ll both go.”

“I don’t think so.”

The blunt response took him by surprise. “This is both our problem, remember?”

“Darby’s still in danger, remember? Somebody needs to stay behind and keep an eye on her.”
