Mercenary vs Assassin (2)

And as the moonlight resides and lighted the forest two figures emerged. One is clothed with clothes suited for assassination while one wore western style suit.

One with dagger and one with silver string, a battle between two kill to hire.

This is no longer a battle for business, No this is a matter of pride between a mercenary and an assassin.

With a flick of his risk Jin controlled five string of silver that slashed it's way through towards Fleeting Shadow. The latter jumped mid air but with just one flick of his enemies risk five line of string followed him upward.

[Southern Assassination Body Control]

Using his assassination arts the Fleeting Shadow bents his body onto unnatural angles flawlessly dodging the silver string. After landing on the ground he took a dash forward and put up his dagger.

After closing the distance between them, Jin having no way to escape using his feet alone once again utilized the infinitely useful silver string, while the latter was closing the distance between the two of them Jin was already tying one of the strings from his finger to a tree. And when the Fleeting Shadow arrived all he did was pull himself towards the tree and in that instant the distance between them largen once again.

"Tch!"

Finding the latter's way annoying Fleeting Shadow can't help but click his tounge.

"You have some very annoying martial arts there"

"Haha I agree, but it's certainly useful"

"Yeah I guess so for someone who hasn't even entered the realm of First Rate you are certainly skilled."

The Fleeting Shadow then took a deep breath, the air suddenly felt different as his body suddenly emits dark mist.

The mist then around his body thinned meanwhile the dark mist from his dagger grew.

"Blade Qi."

He said, his previous stance then change.

"Shadow Lion Hazy Blade"

The dark mist on his body and dagger intensified and formed a flame like effect, No it was not like a flame it was like a mane of lion. Fleeting Shadow then disappeared like a wind, knowing what the assassins would target first Jin swung his fist backward and as expected Fleeting Shadow did go for the back.

But what he felt instead was a pang, like hitting an iron wall he felt his hands went numb and then suddenly he saw a dagger just inches away from his stomach thankfully he was able to make a last-second dodge but unfortunately the dagger was still able to land a hit on him.

From power to speed the Fleeting Shadow dwarfed him.

-Woosh!

Once again disappearing Fleeting Shadow made it's appearance around Jin and barraged him with dagger slashes. At this point on Fleeting Shadow thought that he have the upper hand, so he didn't immediately finish it and made Jin suffer more by dealing slow but painful blows, Thankfully the slashes were only shallow and not enough to seriously injure him. Unbeknownst to him his opponent wasn't just needlessly taking n the blow but instead was making careful analysis.

After his opponent's body was filled with slash wounds, Fleeting Shadow thought that it was time to end it.

"Any last word?"

-Silence

"Hmm, I guess you don't have one huh."

-Swosh!

Aimed at Jin's heart the dagger thrust its way through the wind but suddenly midway the dagger just suddenly stopped.

Strings was tied around the dagger to his arm stopping it on it's track, but it wasn't just simply that. The strings glew slightly bluish indicating that it was covered with Qi.

"Hahaha So I just paved way for a monster."

It then tightened cutting not only his dagger but also his entire arm.

-Flick

Another flick and his body body exploded like a ballon followed by a deathly silence, Chunks of flesh littered the ground as the pungent smell of iron permeated the forest.

Without looking back, Jin pulled his hands inward retrieving all the the silver wires directly into his sleeves. With the analysis he have gathered he tried to clumsily imitates Fleetibg Shadow's Dark Lion Mane.

With one last sigh, his body emits a bluish flame like mane, and with one jump he disappeared.
