1 Prologue

The Taela family was one of the most prominent fashion families. For generations, this matriarchal family has been at the pinnacle of the fashion industry. Even if they weren't the wealthiest, their combined assets placed them among the top 500 families in the world.

Lilac Taela was the youngest member of the generation and was adored by all. Even before she reached maturity, she was named the family's next matriarch.

However, things did not go as planned. Lilac was raised by her stay-at-home, scholar father while her mother traveled the world. Instead of pursuing a career in fashion, this young lady studied like any other student.

Taela was known to marry into their family, whether it was a man or a woman. Lilac, on the other hand, fell in love and married into a man's family. However, life was not always bright.

Her husband's business failed, and he committed suicide as a result. And, as if that wasn't enough, his death revealed his extensive history of cheating.

Lilac, heartbroken, did what a Taela would do. She became successful after taking over her husband's talent agency.

Although she remained unmarried, she had a slew of lovers. Whether it was a famous movie star, a sports athlete, or a celebrity, she would lead them to her bed if she liked them.

Not only men but also women were unable to escape her clutches. They're just a treat for her. While people called her the 'Lady Midas,' she was also known as the 'Succubus' behind her back.

She died when she was 42 years old. On her deathbed, she was at peace. She seemed content with her fate. But she had no idea this was only the beginning.

When she opened her eyes, she had returned to her 16th birthday. It was the day she was named the next matriarch of the Taela family.

She was perplexed at first. She looked up to see her grandmother, the current matriarch of the Taela family, sitting in front of her.

"Drink it," her grandmother advised.

It was only then that she realized she was holding a goblet. She was still perplexed, but she did as she was told. When the scalding liquid burned down her throat, she became clearer-minded.

She wanted to ask what had just happened, but her grandmother interrupted, saying, "You have tasted it, haven't you?"

Lilac was taken aback when she discovered she was holding an apple in her left hand. Someone had bitten into it.

When she reflected on it, she remembered her grandmother giving her an apple after her formal birthday party had ended. She'd taken a bite, but she didn't have a goblet in her hand.

'Is it déjà vu? Or is it all a dream?' She was puzzled.

"It's possible to describe it as a dream. However, it was also your reality." With a smile, her grandmother said.

"I just had a dream..." Her grandmother raised her hand and stopped her before she could say anything else.

"What you have seen was for you only. Don't talk about it with anyone else," the grandmother said as she pushed an open wooden box toward her. "Put the apple inside it."

Lilac was puzzled as to why her grandmother wanted to keep a half-eaten apple. However, as soon as she examined the apple, she noticed that it was in perfect condition, with no scratches.

She kept the apple in the box, dazed. "Now that you have restored the 'Lilith's apple,' I am sure I didn't choose the wrong person," her grandmother said with a smile.

"Go to bed. Remember, you'll be the young matriarch of the Taela family starting tomorrow. So, act like one." And her grandmother left her room.

She was perplexed, and her confusion resulted in a sleepless night. She did, however, have a morning goal in mind.

In contrast to her previous life, she began to behave like a young matriarch. She invested a large portion of the family fund in stocks and headhunted talent agencies. She continued to do what she did best; earning money while extracting honey.

She led the Taela family to become the world's top 200 families using 26 years of memories and nearly 20 years of experience.

However, except for a few confidants, no one knew that the owner of one of the top three media companies was also a manager in her talent agency.

Most of their confidantes thought their owner was serious about managing her artist, while only a couple of them were aware that it was to extract honey.
