17 Crispy Air

L walked down the eerie halls of the asylum. The greyish white brick walls made it look so much more desolate. No matter how many times they tried to paint it the walls would always show evidence of the old brick biulding.

What was the reason they chose white, anyway? Literally any other color would do but a color with no other personality but the need to make people grow insane was chosen. For a freaking asylum no less. Are they trying to give the patients a calm state of mind or drive them to insanity?

He could begin to understand why Wen was so quirky, with this biuldings design, it would make anyone talk to themselves in an unusual amount, or even the complete opposite.

He turned the corner and entered the stair well. They didn't even try to hid the bricks in here and the florescent yellow lighting drowned the place in creepiness. It looked like someone could get murdered in here and nobody would know.

L sucked in a cold breath and went down the white metal stairs. Each step he took was silent, infact the only noise L could hear was the sound of his own breathing. It was like the blank white walls could suck up any sound. If you screamed in here it could probably devour that as well.

L walked out the staircase door and down the hall. As he walked a strange feeling crawled it's way up his body. He shivered and brushed it off. 'Nothing's here.' He kept reminding himself. Yet he couldn't bring himself to believe it.

He took his eyes off the floor and looked down the hall seeing 6 pairs of yellow lights in the foggy distance. They were almost calling to him, patient yet drawing him in.

He tilted his head to the side and sucked in a good amount of air before speaking. "Nope."

He shook his head and turned around to go back up the staircase until the metalic smell of blood and rot shoved it's way up his nose. So much for getting fresh air.

A sound of heavy footsteps walking closer came up behind him, almost dragging. Like someone was dragging a body bag on the ground, inch by inch.

He ran into the staircase, he was not getting murdered today, he had two people waiting for him upstairs. The small window in the staircase allowed him to see the hallway but it was empty. No evidence of anything coming closer behind him.

Maybe he was finally starting to loose it.

L leaned towards the glass in confusion. There was no way he hallucinated that. It felt way to real but seeing how nothing appeared the more he stared, he let his guard down.

Just as he was bringing his head away he saw a face pop up in the corner of the window causing him to yank his head away in shock. It had 6 glowing yellow eyes and many other facial features, specifically human features. It looked like the humans were melted together, like some sick artist tried to make a sculpture and call it art. The face's were morphed beyond recognition.

It was also really grusome, with bloody boils apon it's skin. Maybe a bunch of humans accidentally went into a gigantic oven and got cooked into an illegible blob. Either way, it disgusted L to the point where he felt like he was going to faint if he looked any longer.

The door was being pulled open and L was lucky that his hand was on it because if not the door might as well have been ripped off it's hinges. He played a very awkward game of tug-of-war with the monster on the other side. Noone seemed to be winning as the door would open a good distance before Labcoat drew some superhuman strength from who knows where and pull it back closed.

It lasted a while before the monster gave up and let the door close, drawing amusment from the way L banged his head on the door after. L clenched his jaw before putting the middle finger up at it through the door way.

The monster ignored L and slunk away letting L see it's whole body. It seemed to be a large mixture of labcoats and humans stuck together. It was a large creature aswell, almost blocking the whole hallway. Random faces protruded from different parts of the monster and it dragged it's lump of a body around.

'Were those the dead people we gathered into one area?' L touched his chin lightly. He didn't recognise any faces, not that he could anyway, but it was more than likely.

L climbed back up the stairs, dejected. He didn't know what he just saw but he wished he hadn't. That would probably tramatize him for life, or whatever life he had left.

The asylum looks like my school stair case. Its so creepy and honestly, im pretty sure my school used to be a hospital soooo... yeah.

I mean, why not let kids learn in a biulding that looks like it came out of a horror movie.

All i can think about is the ending of little nightmares 1 with the thick masked dudes coming after six. or the kitchen part. Either way, mega disgusting.

Hope you like the episode :D
