I'm sorry I couldn't publish the chapter on the day I promised to do it. I'm going to try to release the next one next week, as I have some pending commitments and I'm not always available. Beginning at the ninja academy

The Unraveling of the Uchiha Salvation

Diary of Menma Uzumaki, dear diary:

I must admit that preparing to rescue the Uchiha clan was quite difficult, but somehow, I managed it. I had a month to do it, and the results speak for themselves. We're talking about food, rooms, clothes and any basic necessities. They even have nannies, of course, with a secret seal so they don't reveal my secrets. I don't want them, if they return to Earth, to go around divulging my secrets.

I have many rescued bodies that should be given a proper burial, thus preventing Danzō Shimura and Obito Uchiha from doing unethical things with them. My clones recovered almost 95% of them all, according to an estimate based on the Uchiha clan census data obtained by Yōji Aburame before he left the Root.

What he did not expect were the Hashirama cells Yōji Aburame obtained. He also achieved the goal I assigned to him of obtaining a copy of the seal scroll, you know it, the one containing the forbidden jutsus.

Upon perusing the scroll, I found the Chimera Jutsu. I don't know how it ended up here, but I'm not interested in using it. Instead, I want to study this particular Jutsu to create a variant that will allow me to assimilate Shisui Uchiha's eyes. I don't want to lose my beautiful blue eyes that I have in this life.

Having them implanted would be too obvious; my mother Kushina would notice right away, and explaining how I got them would be too much trouble. I'll have to tell her someday, but not today. Besides, implanting Shisui's eyes is out of my hands for now, so thanks, but no thanks.

Menma closes his diary, written in Spanish, knowing that no one but him will be able to read it, since it is a language that does not exist in the ninja world.

Burial of the fallen members of the Uchiha Clan

A week has passed since this horrendous event. The Earth stood majestically on the lunar horizon, as Menma Uzumaki gathered the young survivors of the Uchiha Clan. The atmosphere was charged with sadness and respect, but also with hope for a new beginning.

Menma, his face serious and his eyes full of determination, stood in front of a row of freshly dug graves. Each one bore the name and portrait of a member of the Uchiha Clan who had lost his life in the massacre. Younger children, wrapped in warm blankets, were sheltered in the arms of their caretakers, while teenagers watched with somber expressions.

We are here today to pay tribute to our loved ones. - Menma began in a low but firm voice.

We know that the darkness of the Uchiha massacre has left a deep mark on our lives, but we also know that together we can build a better future. - Menma added in a voice meant to inspire hope.

Those present nodded in agreement, some with tears in their eyes.

These brave children are the hope of our clan. - Menma continued, pointing to the youngest.

We rescued them not only to save their lives, but also to preserve our history and our legacy. We will never forget those who are gone, but we will work together to honor their memory. - Menma said, offering words of comfort.

With a solemn gesture, Menma began to conduct a dignified farewell. One by one, he placed small offerings on each grave: fresh flowers, incense and small objects representing the interests and personalities of the deceased. It was a tribute to the individuality of each clan member.

The young men present approached and reverently scattered flower petals on the graves. Whispers of farewell filled the air as they shared their thoughts and memories. Tears fell, but there were also faint smiles amid the sadness.

In the end, Menma looked at the teens and said, now it is our duty to make sure these children have a future filled with love and opportunity. Together, we will rebuild our clan.

The Earth showed its beauty from the moon base above them, as if it was blessing this new stage in the history of the Uchiha clan. It was a dignified farewell and a hopeful beginning for those who had survived the darkness of the massacre.

Healing the youths of the Uchiha Clan

A day after the burial of the deceased in the Uchiha massacre, among all the unusual ideas Menma Uzumaki could come up with, this one was undoubtedly the most audacious. Although saving the young Uchiha is fine, I must say that this matter could get the boy into a lot of trouble with Danzō Shimura.

I am currently at the Moon base, conducting group therapy to heal the minds of all these children who survived the Uchiha massacre, as this event is extremely traumatic for all of them. Although I consider Menma acted extremely recklessly, it is the right thing to do; the younger ones should not have to pay for the past mistakes of their parents.

I must admit that hiding my involvement in the recovery of all the surviving Uchihas, while not revealing it to my wife, my daughter and my friends, will be extremely difficult, but I will do it to give all these rescued minors a second chance. I do not intend to let them down; I will now do everything possible to make their minds whole. 

All this is what Inoichi Yamanaka thought.

The hidden truth of the Uchiha Clan

The next day, all the young survivors of the Uchiha clan began to gather in the great hall of the moon base, with the clear exception of the babies, who were still at peace with their caretakers, as they were not ready for what was to be discussed. They settled into their seats until Menma Uzumaki arrived. Seeing that everyone was present, she passed in front of them to begin speaking, standing in front of the room.

Menma Uzumaki: (Addressing the young survivors of the Uchiha clan, with seriousness on his face) "Boys, I know that you have lived your whole lives in darkness, not knowing the truth behind the Uchiha massacre. It's time for you to know the reality of what happened. It's not a pretty story, but it's important for you to know."

Hiroshi Uchiha: (Showing interest and expectation) "What are you talking about, Menma? We were always told that the Uchiha clan was to blame."

Menma Uzumaki: (Nodding) "It's true that many believe that, but the truth is more complex. It all began with the release of the Nine-Tailed Fox. What most don't know is that the real culprit behind that attack was Obito Uchiha."

Yumi Uchiha: (Expressing surprise) "Obito Uchiha? We haven't heard that before!"

Menma Uzumaki: "That's right. Obito, a former student of my father Minato Namikaze, manipulated the Nine-Tailed Fox by breaking it out of the seal that held the fox prisoner inside the body of my mother, Kushina Uzumaki, and then trapped it in a Genjutsu so that it would attack Konoha on the day I and my sister were born. But the person who orchestrated the widespread persecution and accusation of the Uchiha clan was Danzō Shimura. He took advantage of the situation to start a campaign to obtain the Sharingan eyes and cover up the mistakes of Konoha's leaders."

Kazuki Uchiha: (Showing indignation) "That's unfair! The Uchiha clan was sacrificed for the welfare of Konoha?"

Shouts and noises of indignation and anger could be heard throughout the great hall. Menma waited for the atmosphere to calm down a bit before continuing to speak.

Menma Uzumaki: (Nodding sadly) "Yes, unfortunately. The Uchiha clan felt oppressed and despised, which led them to plan a rebellion. I do not justify their actions, but it is important for you to understand that not everyone in the clan were villains. Many were honest and brave people."

Hiroshi Uchiha: (Reflecting) "This changes everything we thought we knew. But why are you telling us now, Menma?"

Menma Uzumaki: "Because you deserve to know the truth and not live with a lie that has affected you for so long. Now, together, we can work to heal our wounds and find a better way for all of us."

Just when the young men of the Uchiha clan thought it was all over, they discovered it wasn't.

Menma Uzumaki: (He continued talking to the young Uchiha) "But that's not all. There is something else you should know. Shisui Uchiha, a member of the clan, tried to stop the rebellion peacefully. He possessed the Mangekyō Sharingan, which granted him the ability of Kotoamatsukami, which could influence people's minds without them realizing it."

Yumi Uchiha: (Intrigued) "Shisui tried to stop the rebellion without violence?"

Menma Uzumaki: (Nodding) "Exactly. Shisui wanted to avoid bloodshed and restore peace between the Uchiha clan and Konoha. But Danzō Shimura, once again, intervened and ruined his efforts."

Kazuki Uchiha: (Showing anger) "Danzō again! What did he do?"

A second wave of anger and indignation was heard throughout the room. Menma waited for the atmosphere to calm down a bit before continuing.

Menma Uzumaki: "Danzō Shimura stole Shisui's eyes, believing them to be necessary for his own plans. Fortunately, thanks to my intervention, we managed to prevent those eyes from being misused by Danzō. I successfully recovered them, and they are now in my possession."

Hiroshi Uchiha: (Looking at Menma gratefully) "Menma, you have done a lot for us. You have given us the truth and protected Shisui's eyes. What should we do now?"

Menma Uzumaki: "The most important thing is to heal and find a way to live in peace. Together, we can honor the memory of those we lost and change the fate of the remaining Uchiha."

This time, the young Uchiha did not attempt to rise from their seats, as they saw that this would take time.

Menma Uzumaki: (Seriously) "Shisui's death put Itachi Uchiha Uchiha in an impossible situation. He was between a rock and a hard place, facing the difficult decision of supporting the Uchiha rebellion or backing Konoha. As you already know, Itachi opted to carry out the Uchiha massacre.

Yumi Uchiha: (Shocked) "Itachi was the one who carried out the massacre.... How could he do it?"

Menma Uzumaki: "Yes, Itachi executed the tragic massacre of the Uchiha clan. But what you may not know is that he made an agreement with Danzō Shimura. They agreed that he would eliminate his own clan in exchange for the survival of his brother, Sasuke Uchiha."

Kazuki Uchiha: (Showing disbelief) "Itachi planned to kill us all?"

Menma Uzumaki: (Nodding) "Yes, Itachi was initially going to wipe us all out. But at that time, I stepped in and rescued all of you younger ones, as well as taking care of the bodies of the deceased from the Uchiha clan. Although I wasn't able to recover all the bodies, I made sure it was as many as possible."

Hiroshi Uchiha: (Looking at Menma with gratitude) "Menma, you have done a lot for us. You have given us the truth and saved us. Why did you do all this?"

Menma Uzumaki: "Because I believe everyone deserves a second chance and a better life. Now it is our duty to honor those who left and work together to build a future where peace will prevail."

These words filled the young men of the Uchiha clan with hope. They saw that Menma was about to say something very important and they listened carefully.

Menma Uzumaki: (With sincerity) "Guys, I know it might seem tempting to return to the ninja world, but that's something I can't allow. If Danzō Shimura finds out that you have survived, he will pursue you mercilessly and subject you to horrible things."

Yumi Uchiha: (Concerned) "So, we can't return to our home in Konoha?"

Menma Uzumaki: (Nodding seriously) "Unfortunately, it's not safe. In addition to Danzō, there is another danger you must know about - Black Zetsu. He has manipulated the Uchiha clan for centuries with the goal of bringing back Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, and we cannot allow that to happen."

Kazuki Uchiha: (Alarmed) "Black Zetsu? What else should we know about him?"

Menma Uzumaki: "Black Zetsu is a real and persistent threat that has long spied on and manipulated the events of the ninja world from the shadows to achieve their goals. Not only that, the other ninja villages also do not guarantee to treat them with dignity and respect if they return. That is why I brought them to my Lunar base. Here they will be safe and away from any danger."

Hiroshi Uchiha: (Grateful) "Menma, I understand that you are protecting us. Thank you for all you have done for us."

Menma Uzumaki: (Smiling) "We are in this together. My goal is to make sure that all of you have the opportunity to live in peace and without fear. Now, here at Moonbase, we can build a new beginning and a secure future."

The young Uchiha realized that Menma was providing them with a safe place. He had rescued them, provided them with every comfort and treated them wonderfully. Why go anywhere else when at Lunar base they had everything they needed to thrive? They came to the conclusion that being where they currently were was better than trying their luck elsewhere.

After this, Menma came to the last point he wanted to discuss with all of them, pulling out a seal containing Shisui Uchiha's eyes.

Menma Uzumaki: (Offering Shisui Uchiha's eyes) "Guys, here are Shisui Uchiha's eyes. These are priceless treasures, and I want to give them back to you."

Yumi Uchiha: (Gently turning away) "Menma, we thank you for all you've done for us. But you have proven that you can use them responsibly and in the best interest of all of us."

Kazuki Uchiha: (nodding) "You have our respect and admiration. We can't take Shisui's eyes back. They are yours."

Menma Uzumaki: (moved) "Thank you, guys. I really appreciate your trust in me. I will use these eyes to protect us all and make sure we have a better future."

At that moment, Menma Uzumaki gained the respect and admiration of the young survivors of the Uchiha clan, who recognized his commitment and responsibility in using Shisui Uchiha's eyes, in addition to the fact that he was the architect of not all of them dying during the Uchiha massacre. No one objected to Menma keeping them, reflecting the mutual trust and bond that had formed between them.

Preparing for the ninja academy

A year has passed since the terrible event of the elimination of the Uchiha clan, and now we are preparing for our first day of school.

Children, I want you to be ready for the ninja academy. - Kushina said, hurrying her children so they wouldn't be late for the ninja academy.

I'm coming, mom. - Menma spoke.

It's okay, mommy. - Naruto expressed as he prepared to go to school.

Sister, remember that we don't need backpacks, we have seals that prevent us from carrying so much weight on our backs. - said Menma.

It's okay, brother. - Naruto expressed as he put away his school supplies in a stamp.

Now it's my turn. - Menma mentioned while sealing everything he needed in a personal seal.

Take care of yourselves. - chatted Kushina saying goodbye.

Both Uzumaki siblings said goodbye to their mother.

Journey to school

I still remember the battle where my version of the future faced the Nine-Tailed Beast, in a state called "Cyber Sage Mode". The question on everyone's mind is: how did he pull it off? He showed himself to be extremely powerful.

Something tells me that the key to obtaining Cyber Sage Mode involves nanotechnology, large-scale genetic modifications and the implantation of cybernetic parts. That's the only way it can be achieved. No matter how many jutsus and techniques are used, biology always has its limits, and the one who seems to understand this aspect best is Orochimaru.

My version of the future now looks like a ninja belonging to the Lin Kuei due to so many cybernetic modifications. If I could save Haku, could I turn him into a cybernetic version of Sub Zero? This is a really intriguing question. - Menma thought.

Another thing that has got me thinking is how my mother Kushina decided to keep the name Naruto for my sister, when it's clearly not suitable for her. However, I won't argue with mom about this.

The good thing is that I somehow managed to make the nickname "Naruko" become popular for my sister. So now we call her by that name, even my mom loved it.

"Brother, BROTHER!" - Naruko exclaimed.

"Hey, what's up, Naruko?" - Menma mentioned.

We arrived at the ninja academy. You were so distracted; you didn't even pay attention to me when I talked to you. - said Naruko a little indignant.

Sorry, I was thinking about your nickname and cyber ninjas. - replied Menma.

That's a lot of science, brother. Besides, I like the nickname. We mustn't get distracted or we'll be left out. - Naruko said, taking her brother by the arm so he wouldn't wander off or get distracted.

The first day of the ninja academy

We're finally at the school I saw in another life when I was George, right when they were broadcasting the Naruto show. I wonder if Iruka will still be the teacher, but I'll find out later. This is going to get very interesting. - Menma thought as he entered the academy along with his sister.

The two Uzumaki siblings entered the academy, where several teachers assigned them to their respective classrooms. After several minutes, they finally joined the other children from different clans.

Sasuke Uchiha is supposed to be older than us by one year, but he is in our junior class by one year. This all seems to be explained by the fact that being inside the Tsukuyomi left him incapacitated for a year and it took him all this time to recover. Naruto's story has many inconsistencies, like a Ubisoft game, so I better not break my head trying to solve the problem, even more so if it is a parallel world and similar to the original. - This is what Menma thought.

After a few minutes, teacher Iruka enters and introduces himself. He then asks the children to introduce themselves, saying their name, what they like and what their dream is. The children get up from their seats and express their dreams.

- Hana, a bright-eyed girl, shared that she loved gardening and that her dream was to be a medical ninja to heal her village.

- Ryu, a serious but determined boy, mentioned that he was passionate about poetry and his goal was to become a spy ninja to protect his country.

- Sakura, with her pink hair and radiant smile, revealed her love for music and her desire to be a diplomatic ninja to keep peace between villages.

- Kaito, a clever boy, confessed that he enjoyed riddles and puzzles, and aspired to be a ninja strategist to lead his village to prosperity.

- Yuki, a quiet personality, shared her interest in herbal medicine and her dream of becoming a ninja healer respected throughout the country.

- Shikamaru, being a very intelligent child, said his interest was playing shogi and his dream was to live a quiet life.

- Ino, being a girl who is proficient in the mental arts, mentioned that she loved gardening and her dream was to have a medical center specializing in mental healing.

- Chōji, while eating his potatoes, said that he loved food and his dream was to try all the foods in the world.

- Hinata, being somewhat shy, mentioned that she loved collecting flowers and her dream was to be the leader of her clan.

- Kiba, petting his dog, expressed that he loved animals and that his dream was for everyone to have a dog at home.

- Shino, being somewhat mysterious, said that he loved taking care of insects and that his dream was to be a teacher.

- Sasuke, displaying a somber demeanor, said he had no particular taste and that his dream was to defeat someone.

- Naruko, with the big smile characteristic of the Uzumaki clan, mentioned her love for ramen and exclaimed that one day she would be the Hokage.

- Menma, with a smile, said that he loved learning a lot and that his dream was to rebuild the Uzumaki clan.

Professor Iruka nodded as he listened intently to each student, recognizing the diversity of skills and dreams they had shared. "It's wonderful to see how each of you brings something unique to our ninja community," he commented. "Remember, our names and passions make us strong individually, but it is our teamwork and dedication that will lead us to achieve our dreams together."

With a smile and a nod of approval, Professor Iruka encouraged them to return to their places to begin the day's training, knowing that they had begun the journey toward their ninja dreams with a renewed sense of community and purpose.

This is going a little slow for my taste, but what can you do, it's the first day of the ninja academy, I can't expect much about it. - Menma said.

Menma decided that he would pay attention in his classes. The last thing he wanted in the future was to die for not being a good ninja once he finished school. After 6 hours, the first day of classes finally ended. Menma stretched after having been watching ninja theory all day, as he needed it badly after spending so many hours sitting in a chair. Practical classes won't be for a few days.

I really enjoyed the class. - said Naruko, feeling happy.

I thought you were going to sleep with so much theory. - commented Menma.

Brother, that offends me. - expressed Naruko, feeling a little insulted by this fact.

Sorry, sister. - Menma mentioned apologetically.

"No problem, little brother, let's go eat ramen. - Naruko spoke, holding Menma's left hand to take him faster.

Saving the princess from the Byakugan

The next day, I found the theory class boring, so as long as it wasn't a practical class, I could skip as many classes as I wanted. After all, what a shadow clone learns, I learn accordingly, which is perfect for my purposes. Leaving a clone for the theoretical classes, in the practical classes I personally attend.

I was studying the behavior of the dung beetle and the salamander in their recreated environment in the moonbase lab, when my shadow clone dissipated and showed me something that caught my attention.

Three children were teasing Hinata Hyūga.

Menma, with the Flying Thunder God Jutsu, disappeared from his lab on the Moon to go help his companion. Though before appearing behind the three children, Menma took the form of the IT clown with a floating balloon in his right hand.

Menma began to push away those who were bothering Hinata and stepped into the role of the jester, "Hey kids, don't you want a balloon?" - Menma said acting. 

Don't bother, old man. - said the three bullies.

I insist, they don't want a balloon, after all, they all float. - Menma said, making a sinister head turn as he realized the bullies were looking at him.

The three children, seeing the comedian making unnatural movements, became very frightened and ran away.

Menma, seeing that the children who were bothering Hinata were gone, undid the transformation Jutsu.

Are you all, right? - Menma asked Hinata.

Yes, I'm fine, thank you for defending me. - Hinata said thanking Menma.

You are welcome. I'll take you home, put your hand on my shoulder. - Menma mentioned.

Hinata did as requested and ended up appearing together with Menma at the Hyūga clan's entrance.

I'll take my leave, take care of yourself. - Menma expressed, disappearing from the place.

Hinata was astonished by Menma, but she didn't think about it anymore and walked into the Hyūga compound.

The girl with white eyes

Hinata, the following week, met Menma Uzumaki at recess time, which left a good impression on her after he rescued her from those bad boys who were picking on her because of her white eyes.

Menma approached Hinata, noticing her alone at recess.

"Hi, do you mind if I sit next to you?" - Menma asked.

"No, your presence doesn't bother me at all, quite the contrary, it's nice," said Hinata.

"I've seen in the practical classes that you hold back a lot; I must ask a personal question; do you have siblings?" - Menma said.

Yes, I have a sister. - Hinata answered.

"Well if you continue with your idea of peace and not fighting, unfortunately the day would come when they could do bad things to your sister and even take her by force against your will. You are not training at the academy not to do evil, but to defend and protect what you love," Menma commented.

Hinata said nothing, though she silently acknowledged that Menma had a good point. She cherishes her little sister named Hanabi very much, and for something horrible to happen to her would fill her with pain and sadness.

They'll never do anything to my little sister. - Hinata said with determination.

"Words are carried away by the wind, show with deeds that you love your sister very much. Become the best Kunoichi in the class as an immediate and realistic goal that can be done in your case. I have several ideas on how to make you powerful. I am going to talk to my mother to provide me and my friends with Taijutsu training. Why don't you come have lunch with me, my sister and my friends, we play and plan a way to make us strong to defend ourselves together. What do you say?" - Menma said.

"I like your idea, I'll go with you," mentioned Hinata.

Menma and Hinata went to have lunch with Naruko, Shikamaru and Chōji. After lunch, they went to play.
