Beginning of a great day 2

John drove Rohwan to the school. On the way to school, he reminded him about the dinner that was canceled would be held in 2 days.

Why was it suddenly canceled?

"They had some emergency at home", John replied.

Ohh!!! by the way, who is this shareholder.

It's Mr. Asher James. He recently moved to our city from abroad with his family. They reached the gate, Ruhwan was about to get down when John said that he won't be home today as he was going to C city to meet the client. Ruhwan got out of the car only to see Annie and Shaun coming his way.

John looked at his brother's handsome face showing was displayed with rare emotion which he might have not seen before, still didn't think much, and drove away.

SHAUN ANNIE

Shaun and Annie looked at the source of voice only to find Ruhwan waving at them with a silly smile on his face.

Annie didn't think much but she kept stealing glances while Shaun had a smirk on his face as he was cooking something evil.

hey!! good morning Brother In-l...

cough cough...

ahem!! umm I mean my brother-in-law bought some tasty cookies would you like to try them. Annie glared at Shaun. the trio went to the field since it was still early. they sat down near the stairs with Annie in the middle and Shaun and Rohwan on either side.

Shaun took three chocolate bars and handed the two.

Thanks...both Annie and Shaun said at the same time. Rohwan smile at her sweetly making her heart run wildly. She tried to maintain a smile on her face.

Shaun talked nonstop. Most of the time his voice could be heard but there were times when Rohwan and Annie's laugh could be heard. In between their conversation, Annie kept on stealing glances at Rowan. Which of course he noticed how couldn't he but did not want to spoil the peaceful environment among them and let her enjoy his handsome face.

Where is sam I don't see him, out of the blue Annie asked Rohwan.

Oh actually his grandmother was admitted to the hospital to he took a leave. He was worried for his friend but didn't show it on his face.

They felt sad for sam. What happened? Shaun inquired.

I don't know much as he only texted me that he won't come as his grandmother had a seizure and was admitted to the hospital. I didn't ask much because he was rushing to the hospital. I'll visit him after school.

I hope everything goes well, Annie consoled Rohwan .

Of course, we will, Annie said to rohwan and looked at Shaun who nodded his head.

The bell rang and they went to their respective classes.

During the lunch break, Rohwan stayed back as he had some work to do which was given by the teacher.

Annie was in the cafeteria with Shaun eating her lunch. She would from time to time look at the entrance as if someone might appear but she got nothing more than disappointment.

She was deep in thought when Shaun asked, "what are you looking at, I am right in front of you, who are you searching for?"
