At the dinner 1

Oh, it's nothing.

Rohwan got in a cab when his cell phone vibrated it was a message from John saying he should be ready at 8 for today's dinner and he will directly pick him up on the way.

He closed his eyes and leaned back, nobody knows what's going in his mind.

When he closed his eyes he could see her, her eyes, her smile, the way she looked at him, the way she smiled at him everything was just imprinted in his heart.

He didn't know when he fell asleep. He only realise it when he reached his destination and the driver was calling him out.

sir..sir we are here, the cab driver called out. Only then he got up. He paid him and went inside. He walked down the empty pathway with only fallen leaves. He then thought of a quote he read somewhere once " in every change, in every fallen leaf, there is some pain, some beauty, and that's the way new leaves are born".

He looked at the sky and thought can he be like those fallen leaves, let go of the past and accept the things coming ahead.

He was deep in thought when he heard Mr. Patterson called him out, "welcome home young master, how was your day?".

Good evening Mr. Patterson, what are you doing out here?

I was watering plants, the gardener took a leave.

The Gardner didn't come to work, he went to his hometown. So he was watering the plant only to see his young master who was in deep thought looking at the sky. He realized what he's thinking about and felt pity for the young boy.

Let me carry it for you why don't you go and freshen up till then I'll ask the kitchen to warm up the food.

Rohwan nodded and handed him his bag and went upstairs.

He was in the bathroom when Mr. Patterson came in with a box in his hand. he said," young master, your outfit for today has just been delivered by the boss's men. I have kept it on the side table and our food has been prepared come down soon".

hmm...

Mr. Patterson closed the door and went downstairs.

Rohwan got out without looking at the outfit, he went downstairs. He saw the food was already on the table, pulled out a chair when Mr. Patterson placed the food on his plate. He took a bite when his eyes widened. "she is back, isn't she?", he looked at Mr. Patterson who was giving a smile.

How are you young master, a low old voice was heard.

Grandma Gracie...when did you come? how are you now? I missed you? he ran towards her and hugged her.

I missed you too. she sounded happy.

Grandma Gracie was from his mother's side. She came along with Iris when she got married. She was now the only family left to him after his parents died. She wasn't with them for a month as she went to visit her family.

He missed her so much, he missed her food and the comfort of being around her.
