1 Prologue

A small girl, young and no older than 10 years. Raven black hair which reached her shoulder blades and bright green eyes that resembled the colour of emeralds, skin as pale and delicate like snow. She was drifting in an abyss of darkness, no light, literally nothing around her. Her heart was racing in her chest. The girl was searching for a way out but without luck. She wasn't able to move forward or backwards, just swaying in one place. Her green orbs darted around in the blackness hoping for a way out, hoping for a spark of light. Cries, her cries. Her shrieks for help echoed in the abyss as her voice slowly died out by the minute. Losing all hope that her petite body could carry.

Her beautiful green eyes slowly lost their brightness and light of life as she just stared ahead. Was this the end? Is this her future? Emptiness? Which god has she angered to receive this kind punishment? How long has she been here? Her mind and body had no realization of time, it could've only been a few minutes but it was also possible that years have passed by, she couldn't tell.

"Are you scared?" An unknown voice asked.

The girl inhaled sharply and looked around, searching for the person or thing behind the sound. "Yes." She answered unconsciously. "Do you want to get out?" It asked another question. Again, she answered with another yes while still searching for 'it'. Her heart started to speed up faster, exactly the same way it did when she just arrived here, when she was pathetically searching for an exit.

"I'll help you, but." She held her breath, anticipating for what came next. Is this her chance? To finally escape this void of pitch black desolation, she would do anything to get out of here, no matter what price she had to pay.

"But you ought to live for me. You won't live for yourself anymore, instead you will dedicate your second life to me."

The girl got desperate at the voice mentioning the word 'life' and immediately agreed without comprehending the other words and it's demands.

Many would think she was stubborn, bold, reckless or just plain stupid for accepting such a deal but honestly, all she wanted was to live.
