Chapter 41: The Dragon Sin of Wrath

The King's Castle loomed majestically before us, its towering spires and grandiose architecture a testament to the kingdom's might. I, Ash, and Lucy stood at the castle's entrance, adorned in our finest attire. The journey to this point had been arduous, but it was worth every challenge we faced and a fun one too.

"Can you believe we made it here, guys?" Ash asked, a glint of excitement in his eyes.

I slapped him on the back, a grin spreading across my face. "We've come a long way since that first quest in the outskirts of Sapin. We deserve all the credits we will receive. But this is just the beggining."

Ash nodded, his eyes full of determination. "And don't forget, we faced that monstrous Hell Minotaur and his minons together. That's what got us here."

Lucy, with her authorative and strong voice chimed in. "It's not just about the adventures, it's about celebrating your achievement, becoming the youngest to reach Rank AA."

"Yeah but I do not care about such things, what is important is our teamwork and progression as a group." I explained

As we entered the castle, the grand hall was a sight to behold. Nobles in elegant attire mingled, their hushed conversations filling the air. The grand hall of the King's Castle was abuzz with excitement as nobles and guests from across the kingdom gathered for the grand celebration.

King Blaine stood at the dais, his regal attire befitting the occasion. He raised his hand, calling for attention, and the room fell silent.

"Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed nobles and honored guests." King Blaine began, his voice commanding the attention of all in attendance. "Tonight, we gather to celebrate a remarkable achievement that has taken place within the very heart of our kingdom."

The nobles leaned forward, anticipation etched on their faces, as King Blaine continued, "It is not often that we bear witness to the ascent of a young adventurer to the illustrious rank of AA. But tonight, we have the privilege of honoring Meliodas Leywin, along with his steadfast companions, Lucy and Ash."

A round of applause erupted, echoing throughout the grand hall. The nobles reactions ranged from astonishment to admiration as they acknowledged the significance of this achievement.

The King's speech continued, "Together, Meliodas, Lucy, and Ash embarked on a perilous journey, one that led them to the heart of an A-rank dungeon, where the menacing Hell Minotaur awaited. Through unwavering bravery and unmatched skill, they emerged victorious, and the many achievement they made in the past."

The nobles exchanged whispers of awe and intrigue, realizing the gravity and weight of these accomplishments.

King Blaine's expression grew solemn. "But tonight is not merely about valor in battle, it is about the spirit of determination and unity. These young adventurers have proven that, no matter one's age, the pursuit of excellence knows no bounds."

A murmur of agreement swept through the crowd. The nobles, often bound by tradition, were moved by the King's words and the significance of our achievements.

"Thus." King Blaine proclaimed. "It is my distinct honor to announce that, as a token of our kingdom's gratitude and admiration, Meliodas shall be granted a Noble title. Then a territory, a rare and prestigious honor, to be bestowed upon him once he reach the age of 15."

A resounding cheer erupted from the nobles. They clapped and cheered, their initial surprise giving way to genuine joy for my success. It was a moment of unity, recognizing the extraordinary feat of a young adventurer and his loyal friends.

King Blaine concluded. "Tonight, we not only celebrate an adventurer's remarkable journey but also symbolize the spirit of Sapin, a spirit of unity, determination, and the relentless pursuit of greatness."

As King Blaine concluded his speech with a flourish, he turned his attention toward me. "And now, I ask Meliodas, is there anything you would like to add to this momentous occasion?"

With a determined expression, I stood up, and the nobles recognized me as the young adventurer they'd been celebrating. But there was a newfound aura of authority around me.

"Indeed, Your Majesty." I began, my voice steady and commanding. "I stand before you not only as Meliodas Leywin but also as Meliodas, the Dragon Sin of Wrath."

The room filled with whispers and awe as the weight of the new title I settled in. King Blaine nodded, acknowledging my choice.

With the attention of the entire hall, I turned to my friends, Lucy and Ash, and spoke of our future plans. "Lucy, whose spirit burns with the intensity of a thousand suns, and Ash, whose unwavering resolve is the shield that has protected us through countless trials, we've been through much together."

The nobles leaned forward, eager to hear my vision for the future.

"We may be young, but our adventures have forged us into a team stronger than any armor and more resolute than any weapon. Our path is one of unity, friendship, and the pursuit of justice. It is not only about defeating monsters but about protecting the people I hold dear."

The nobles nodded in approval, sensing the significance of my words.

"With the title of 'Dragon Sin of Wrath' I vow to defend our kingdom and its people against any threat, no matter how formidable!" I declared. "We shall strive to be the embodiment of courage, determination, and justice. Together, we will continue to take on challenges that lie ahead."

My friends, Lucy and Ash, exchanged determined glances, fully committed and ready to the path I had just outlined.

King Blaine, observing the resolve in my eyes, nodded in approval, knowing that the future of the kingdom was in capable hands.

The applause continued, echoing the sentiments of the kingdom's nobility, and marking my achievements as something truly extraordinary.

As the night unfolded, we found ourselves engaged in countless conversations with the nobility. They were eager to learn more about my adventures and the challenges I faced. Each story I shared added to my growing legend.

Ash and Lucy seemed to have the same conversations. They were happy that their effort were being recognised, but they shouldn't let this get into their head, that if they want to grow even more.

It was a night of revelry and recognition, and before the party reached to its end, a hand touched my shoulder...
