22 Chapter 22: Shopping with ladies

"Good morning Mom, Ma'am, Lilia!" I announced.

"Ah! Ellie managed to wake you up! I remembered having the hardest time waking you up even when you were a baby. I swear you slept like a log." My mother chuckled as she placed some eggs into a large plate.

"Did you sleep well?" Smiled Tabitha as she tossed the bowl of salad she had in her hands.

"I slept great, Tabitha." I said walking to the chair next to the table.

"Hi, Ellie! G-good morning Meliodas... " Lilia softly said as her voice trailed off after meeting my gaze.

I smiled and returned the greeting.

After a while Arthur joined us. Breakfast was great. Mother mentioned that usually the maids are the ones to cook but she wanted to cook today for us.

"The carriage is waiting out front so just leave the dishes in the sink and let's head out!" announced Tabitha.

Xyrus was an amazing city. I couldn't help but stare at the different sights that came into view as we travelled down the main road. I could see magic shops, armories, spell books, and even beast core shops!

There was everything a mage could ask for. Adults and children were all dressed extravagantly while luxurious carriages passed alongside ours.

Some buildings were several stories high, making this city seem a lot bigger and denser than Ashber. I could also saw children a couple years older than me all wearing the same uniforms, some were black while others are grey and red. I could only assume by their pretentious demeanor that they were students of Xyrus Academy.

Me and Arthur were used as a mannequin for each of the girl's own preferences in style. My mother wanted to dress us in simple clothes, while Tabitha wanted to transform us into some sort of prince. Even Lilia and Ellie made us try on some clothes.

"You need to look good since you're my bruhders!" She announced loudly, her hands on her hips.

"Bet!" I annouced with my hands on my hips too, facing her.

I ended up with ten different sets of clothes, half from Mother and the other half from Tabitha and it was the same with Art. Mother tried to stop Tabitha from buying me anything but she scolded her, playfully said. "Just think of it as an investment. Besides, I've always wanted a son." While winking.

We looked around more after towing our bags of clothes into the carriage. Art was excited to see the armory. I too really wanted a decent sword to start practicing swordsmanship again.

The girls didn't want that, though, and we were forced to go into different jewelry and gem stores instead. I could only pity him even though even I wanted to visit them honestly. They just can't understand.

Once in the jewellery store, I went to talk to the shop owner who pierced both my ears. I showed him the model I want for the earing by drawing it,it was just a regular model, nothing fancy. He told me to come for them two hours and half later. And of course it was Tabitha our piggy bank who paid for them.

We went to a barber, Arthur was against the idea but mother and sister forced him to have have a decent haircut, I went first since my hair has gotten pretty long and I decided to go with my ususal cut with the medium lengh messy hair. After finishing it was Arthur's turn.

During that time I went to take a walk alone to look around, it was at that moment I noticed from up here a group of people surrounding someone and I could hear the sounds clearly even though the distance.

"What is this stupid shit doing here"

"Eugh, gross! Look at his skin color"

"Guys come on just leave me alon..."

"I told you not to touch me!" *Thud!*

It was a group of older brats who seemed to be nobles from their exageratedly decorated outfits surrounding a boy about my age with balck skin.

*Sigh*'It seems like wherever it is, be it my old world or this wolrd there is always those racisct stupid motherfuckers'

"Sate sate saate, What do we have here?" I walked towards them.

"Ehh? What do you want kid? Just fuck off or we will beat the shit out of you too." One of the bullies threatened to scare me from here.

"You? Beat the shit out of me? I would like to see you try."

"You asked for it kid." He tried to punch me in the face, not just to scare but he really meant to hurt me even though im probably four or five years younger than him, I guess I can beat them up a little. He didn't have time to realise what happened as I slapped three front teeth out of his mouth and they fell to the ground.

"Huuuuh my theefth, where are my theefth?" He held his mouth to stop the bleeding. Not letting him think of what to do next I immedietly slapped his butt so hard he flew 7 meters in the sky.

"Aaaaaagh!" *Thud* He fell on his face breaking another four teeth, of theefth like he says

"What the fuck just happen? What did you do to him?" His bro asked.

"Stupid questions. *Sigh* you have two choices either I never see your faces again or you end up like him." I pointed to their boy with my thumb closing my fist.

Recalling what hapenned to him they became hesitant for a moment, but they are 12 years old boys after all, so we all know what they did.

"Ugh you little brat we will beat some sense into you."

"Guys surround him and let's break some of his bones!" Another one said.

*Thud*

*Thud*

*Slap*

*Thud*

All four of them ganged up on me but one hit for each one was more than enough to knock them out.

"Are you all right buddy?" I asked him with my hands inside my empty pockets.

He looked up to me with he's blue swollen eye, "Yeah, thank you for the help."

I extanded my hand to help him stand up. "So what's your name, and how old are you by the way?"

He grabed my hand and got up from the ground "Im Ash, nine years old what about you?"

"I am Meliodas, eightd years old. I don't understand you are a talented kid with dark red stage already, and you look physicaly strong I am sure you could've beaten them if you wanted."

"Yeah I know but, I can't fight back or else I would have even bigger problems because of my skin color, and they are noble on top of that they wouldn't let it slide" He explained.

"Maybe... Maybe not. Anyways take care of yourself man and don't let people look down on you." I said as I turned and started walking back from where I came waving my hand to him without looking back.

"O-okay, and thank you again!" He bowed slighlty.

Fortunatly, I joined the ladies and Art right after he finished his haircut, now he looked really fresh. We continued our shopping and things. We even went to eat at a beautiful luxurious cafe, it wasn't luxurious for me since I got used to royal food at the castle of Elenoir.

Anyways after finishing everything we went back and finaly arrived back home after all, my physical and mental strength depleted by the time father came back home soon after.

"How was your day, boys?" He chuckled, taking a seat next to me on the dining table.

"I never thought shopping could be so utterly tiring," I groaned.

"Yeah, those women are incredible like seriously how could they spend 6 hours on shopping without even getting tired, while only three hours killed us." Arthur complained sleeping on his belly.

"Hahahaha, those are the womanly superpowers. Not even you Meliodas a dark orange mana core genius can keep up or compete with them."

"I swear to god." I sighed.

As if hearing my complaints, Vincent and Tabitha sat down across from us.

"HAHA! I heard you got beat up by a bunch of women today, kids!" Vincent exclaimed.

I just feebly nod while Tabitha smirked at looks at Mother, "The little prodigies of yours are't as big of a deal as I thought they were." Lilia and Ellie giggled at this.

"I will admit that a woman's endurance can not be matched when they're out shopping." I wryly refuted.

My father and Vincent laughed harder at this and nodded their head in agreement.

The sound of a doorbell followed by a couple of knocks got everyone's attention.

"Ah! Looks like she's here!" Vincent perked up.

The look on everyone else's face told me that Vincent was the only one who knew what was going on.

Vincent came back, leading an elderly woman into dining room. "Rey, Alice, Meliodas, Arthur, I know you guys said that you want to put off school for later but I just couldn't hold it in. Everyone. Meet Cynthia Goodsky! She's the Director of Xyrus Academy."

Noticing the slight twinge of annoyance on Arthur's face, Vincent immediately said, "Don't worry, I didn't bring her here to make you go to school right away. I just wanted her to meet you."

I didn't really care if she came or not, I just wanna have fun and fight epic and strong opponents.

The Director gave me a smile that I couldn't quite understand the meaning of and held out her hand. "Nice to finally meet you, Arthur and Meliodas."

'What do you want me to do with your hand old bat? Jerk off with it?'
