Preparing for the interview

Aiden: C'mon tell me. My reaction will depend on the gravity of the situation.

Leon:Sigh, actually I sent your resume to my Lady boss and she asked me to set an interview with you on Wednesday for the position of assistant of the CEO. The HR department will send you an email on the details but I wanted to tell you first so that you don't get confused and think it is a scam.

Aiden: sigh, did Eva tell you about me looking for a job??

Leon: Yes she did. But she has no bad intention in doing that. I already know how prideful you are but please don't reject me okay?? You already know I will be resigning to take over the family business very soon right?? That was why I recommended you to the Lady boss.

Aiden: Okay. Thanks though for taking the risk to do it even though you knew I would be angry when I find out.

Leon: You're welcome bro. Leon replied with a soft chuckle.

After exchanging a few more words, they finally ended the call.

Leon was the young master of the Asante family and is three years older than Aiden so he always protected him from the bullies at school since he was the only poor one in the midst of rich kids in the school due to scholarship. For him Aiden was not just a friend or neighbor but also the younger brother that he never had even though he had a younger sister at the same age as Aiden who knows nothing but to cause trouble for others.

Even though the Asante's are rich, they prefer living a humble life that was why instead of buying a house from the rich society, they bought their house at a not so poor residential area in the country which also happens to be where Aiden and his family reside. And now due to his father's age, he has decided to take over their family hospital in City F even though he is not a doctor.

After the call ended, Aiden told his family about the good news Leon has given him and they were all happy for him after hearing his narration because they all knew it was his dream to work at FIBSAM ENTERPRISES and that it was a dream come true for him. Lisa was very happy for her son so without waisting time she took her purse and brought out some money for him to go shopping with. "Here son, take this money and go get your self a better outfit for the interview tomorrow. I'm not taking a no for an answer so you better take the money now." Lisa said.

Yes son your mother is right, you already know how fashionable the employees at FIBSAM are. We can't afford for you to be looked down upon during your interview. Grandma Lola chimed in. After leaving no room for argument and declining, Aiden finally but reluctantly took the money from his mom and left for the market to find a second hand clothes store where he can buy at the cheapest price.

After going through the clothes given to him by the shop keeper, he decided to take a black toxudo trousers and a white long sleeves shirt he saw hanging in the shop to pair. He then left after paying to the barberring shop to trim his hair. On his way back home after he left the barberring shop, he saw the familiar ice cream shop he use to watch her buying ice cream from with a wide and innocent smile whenever school closes during middle School but with a sad smile, he left thinking if whether he would be able to see her again.
