Yinuo was lying on the bed, closing her eyes as she tried to fall asleep. However, she was too excited to be visited by sleepiness. Just as she was about to drink warm milk to try and induce sleepiness, she picked up a faint odor.

"Ugh... What's that smell?" She groaned, pinching her nose.

The smell was like a corpse decaying in the open air for over three days. It smelled so foul that she was reminded of past battlefields—dark, murky, and filled with death.

She tried looking around, looking for the source of the smell, but just as she reached the door, a short beep echoed.

"A message?" Yinuo groaned as she checked her smartwatch.

She wasn't too techie, so it took her a few seconds just to bring up the new message. The sender was one of General Bethilda's officers, making Yinuo frown hard. When she read the content, her eyes opened wide before her gaze flicked toward the door.

"Shit...!"
