3 The pressure of the heart

As soon I reached the hospital, I straight away go to the ICU. I saw William standing there with a worried face. I guess he must be waiting for me.

"Ara, finally you here. Where you have been? They call you many times but you didn't answer. I was waiting for you here early.''

I breathe heavily when I reached there as I run with speedily.

"I will tell you later. Where my mom? Did they start the operation yet?"

"Not yet, I think they still do the preparation. They need you to sign some document before proceeding with the operations."

"Okay, I go meet the doctors first."

"Okay, be careful."

After a few minutes, I have done with my signed documents.

"Are you done?"

"Yes, they already take my mom into the operations room. I had to see my mom for a moment before they take her inside."

"I see. Don't worry, everything will be good." He hugs Ara lightly.

"Thank you, Will."

"Your welcome. It's my pleasure."

"Did you not going to work? The operation may take time to finished."

"It's okay, I will leave after I accompany you for a few minutes here.''

"No, Will. It's okay, I can wait here alone. I don't want to disturb your works."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, don't worry about me. I can wait here by myself."

"Okay, if like that I going continue my works first."

"Alright, bye... thank you so much, Will."

"Okay, Bye..."

After William left, I went to the waiting area outside and take my seat there. I was thinking by myself there.

I was worried about my mom and the worst thing, I still can't raise any money for my mom's medical treatment and all for her medical bill.

The other reason I'm worried is I actually still waiting for my interview call from some jewelry company. I just apply for an assistant designer with that company. I guess, maybe I didn't get any chance to be a designer if they didn't give me any news yet.

While sitting there, I just notice my bags were gone. Where actually my bag? I remember I bring it before. Suddenly, I remember something. Crap! I think I left it at that house weird man.

I was thinking for a while about how I should get my bags and how I want to contact the man. I don't even know him and to go there again, of course, I don't dare to go there again.

After a few hours, my mom's operation was done, and its success. But my mom's condition still weak and need to move her to the ICU room first.

At least, I feel relief after seeing my mom's operation was a success and I can go back home first with ease. When I went out of the hospital, I saw a car that a man send me before. I quickly go there and want to take my bag.

I slowly moving toward the car and knock out the window. Then someone was got out of the car. I guess he is the driver who takes me before.

"Err... actually I left my bag there can you go take and give it to me?"

"Don't worry, It's here." He gives her bags.

"Oh, thank you."

Then the driver was gone after a few minutes. I was in the puzzle to see the man left after said one sentence only. I just ignore it and decided to go back home.

After an hour, I arrived home. I was laying down on the sofa in the living room as soon as I reached. My head suddenly feels hurt and I was feeling tired all day.

I actually was thinking about how I gonna continue my life. My mom still at the hospital, and my job still didn't any news yet. I was stress at that time and plus with my mom's medical bill tomorrow that still not yet to be in settlement.

I slowly close my eyes and trying to rest my mind. As soon I close my eyes, all of a sudden, I thinking about that scary man!

''Ugh! Why did I thinking about him? I don't even know him not even his name.'' I said out loud.

I just remember that he just propose to me this morning and he wants my answer this midnight. What should I do? At the first, I think that he is really crazy man, but why his last words seem like he really has something that makes my heart moved.

I thought he was really sincere about that. But, why he doesn't want to say the truth? I don't know why must it be me! Or maybe he really a lonely man that wants to get married desperately. But he looks not too older also.

I just laying down there and thinking hard about that man. I really curious about the man but that not means I have to marry him. I also have my own dream wedding and also my dream man!

After a few minutes, Ara was fell asleep there. But, as she falls asleep, her phone suddenly ringing. In still half asleep, she finds her phone and slowly answers it.

''Hello. . .'' She speaks in a sleepy voice.

''Hello, Miss Ara Brianna?''

''Yes, that's me.''

''I'm the one of finance department from the Harold Hospital. I have to confirm with you about the overdue payment for Mrs. Eunice's treatment at this hospital. We want to know when will you can settle all this payment?''

''Uh, yes! I will pay for it as soon. But right now I still can't pay it. Can you give me a more day? I promise that I will pay for it.''

''I'm sorry to say this, but because this payment has many days overdue, you need to pay this until tomorrow. If you can't pay it, we had to take some action and it will disrupt your mom's treatment.''

''If you have a problem with the payment, you can ask the welfare association with that.'' She added.

''Okay, okay! I will settle all the payment by tomorrow morning.''

''Alright, Miss Ara. Thank you for your cooperation.''

''Alright, thank you too.''

After the conversation ended, Ara was distressed and saddened. She was in confound and didn't know how she wants to ask the help.

Ara was the only daughter in their family. Her father was gone after many years and didn't come back yet. She also didn't know too much about his father. The other relatives from her mother also have given up on her family.

In fact, Ara literally didn't know what actually happens to her family and the other their relatives family. She only remembers when she 8 years old ago, she look back at how her relatives hated to see their family.

But, until now, Ara didn't know what the real happens and didn't know what the secret she never knows about her family. Hence, she had to independent with herself and with her mother.

Then, without realizing it, it was near midnight. Ara already asks the other for help but they didn't want to. She asked also the welfare associate but it takes a few days to approve it. She was deadlocked and her heart is downhearted.

She sitting there alone and without realizing it, her tears fell down. Ara is a person that really hard to shed tears but, for this time...she feels that she was failed and she can't take it anymore.

''Mom...I'm sorry...'' She crying out loud there.

On the other side, Ryan was on his way going to the house where is Ara live. After he got all the information about Ara, he finally has something to surely Ara to agree to marry him.

He didn't think that Ara has something struggling in her life too. It will make his plan to marry her easily. He knows her answer this time will not discard him.

Then, he arrived at Ara's house. Ara was living at the terrace house. When Ryan arrived there, he looks around the area and even checking her neighborhood.

He slowly walks into Ara's house and he looks that the gate was unlocked. He just going inside and when he wants to knock on the door, he heard the sound of someone is crying.

He didn't knock on the door and stand there for a while. He thought that Ara must be crying inside there. For a while, he just let Ara to crying there before he wants to meet her.

Ryan gives a hand sign to just wait for a while at Aaron that waiting for him in the car. He clearly hears her crying and suddenly his heart feels sad and hurt too.

''She must be miserable right now. Should I just come in? After all, I have to make her agree right now. I don't think I have more time.'' He said by himself there.

Without thinking anymore, he just knocks on the door. He really dont care what will happen today. But, he needs to ask Ara to agree to married to him.

{Knock. . .Knock. . .Knock. . .} The sound of the door knocking.

After a few minutes, Ara opens up her door and she was shocked to see the man before was standing in front of her house right now.
