11 The Ignorance!

The next day, Ryan goes to work earlier. He actually wants to see Ara in her room but, after he remembers what happened last night, he dont dares to see her first. He just stares in front of her door. Then, after a few minutes, he just goes away from there.

After half an hour, Ara comes out of her room. She is ready to go to work. As usual, there is a driver who would wait for her outside every morning to send her off to work.

But that morning Aaron came to see her and says that Ryan was giving her one day's leave today. Ara was surprised. But, she doesn't care and just keeps going to work. She feels upset that morning because Ryan didn't even try to coax her. She regrets hoping that Ryan will have a smooth talk with her.

After an hour, she arrived. She forces herself to not make any expression on her face. She just hopes that day she will not across with Ryan. Once she arrived at her workstation, she was surprised to see all her colleagues in a state of confusion.

They all looked busy and in a hurry. She saw Emily also in a worried face. She came close to her and asked her what had happened.

''Emily? What has happened? Why you all look seem busy?''

''Mr. Ryan wants to meet all the designers and he wants to see each of our works.''

''Oh, I see. But, why you all look like tension?''

''Because he wants to choose several designs from us then send us to be a representative for the competition jewelry designer upcoming.''

''What? Competition? Can I join it too??''

''All designers can participate but the choice in his hands. That's why, after we got the email this morning, all of us were excited and make haste want to submit our works.'' Emily said while compiling some of her paper works.

''I see. But...I'm just an assistant designer...do you think I can take part in it?''

''Emm...I think...!'' Emily said in doubt.

''Assistant also can take part if you have the draft.'' Suddenly Mrs.Elizabeth coming from behind.

''Let us go, we have the meeting right now.'' She added.

Without wasting time, Emily and Ara immediately follow her from behind. The other also headed towards the meeting room gradually.

Later, all of them already inside the meeting room. They just only waiting for Ryan to arrive. After a few minutes, Ryan has come. He entered the room with a stern face. Once he comes, he takes his seat in front of them.

All of them there just remain silent and wait for his words. Before he began the talk, he slowly looking at each of them there and suddenly his eyes fixed at Ara only. He frowned slightly when he saw her sitting there also.

Both of them eyes were meet for a second and Ara quickly avoid it and look away. He then began the meeting casually and talk about the jewelry design competition. All of the designers there seem interested and they hope that they will take part in that.

When Ara heard about the competition, she really wants to join that but she feels a little confident to join it. After all, the one who will choose the design of their works is Ryan. So, she thinks that Ryan will be not choosing her.

Then, after a few hours, their meeting gonna be ended. But, before their meeting ended, Ryan introduces a woman to them all there. They in amazement and curious as to who the person was.

After a few minutes, one girl enters the room with an elegant look. She gives them a big smile and greeting them friendly. All of them were stunned by her beautiful look and her slim tall figure was really amazing.

Once the girl comes in, the others started whispering to each other. Ara also looks at her curiously. She suddenly thinking about the rumors she heard before about Ryan and his fiancee. Is that his fiancee? She thought.

Ryan stood up and introduced the woman to them. ''Okay, Let me introduced to you all that she is Miss Tracy. I guess some of you already know her. So, she will in charge of this competition for our company. So, I hope you all can work together well.'' Ryan said to them and secretly take a glance at Ara.

All of them just listening and nod their head. Ara just remains silent there and just makes a gloomy face. She not even looks at him when he talking in front there.

Before they disperse, suddenly Ryan talks something. ''And one more thing, I don't want to hear any false rumors in this office. Please take this competition seriously. I want the victory only for our company. Dismissed!'' He said sternly and walk away from there.

After hearing about that, all the employees were silent for a while. Elizabeth just gives a sharp glare to a few of them there. She knows that some of them there were making rumors about the chairman. She also walks away from there and goes toward Ryan.

Ara and Emily also take their step away together. Both of them were talking about the competition and also the problems just now. After that, they continually return to their own workstation.

As soon as Ara take her seat, she was thinking for a while. She wondering why Ryan talk about that things in front of them before. Did he deliberately saying that or maybe just indirectly explain to me about that before? But still, he didn't explain also about that girl name Tracy. She thought.

On the other side, Ryan was talking with Tracy in his room. They were talking about the works and suddenly Tracy asks him something about what is he saying at the meeting room before. She actually has heard about their relationship rumors and she just fine with that but not Ryan.

In fact, Tracy and Ryan was a friend since childhood because their parents are good friends. They really have known about each other for a long time. In other words, Tracy also has known about Ryan's secret that he has that curse in his family for a long time.

She once helped Ryan to return to normal but it failed. And the other thing is, Tracy has loved him for a long time but Ryan rejected him many times. She thought maybe Ryan rejected her love because of the curse and because of that, she still loves him and will not give up until she can help him to remove the curse completely.

''Ryan, why you need to point out the rumors just now? Anyway, I'm okay with that. It's not even distracted on me.''

''But not me! I dont like to hear about that thing in my companies. After all, I dont really like about that things, and in fact, the stories are really untrue.'' Ryan said with a serious face. He just keeps busy doing his work on the computer.

Tracy feels a little taken back after hearing that from him. ''If you don't have anything else to say, you can go out and continue your work,'' Ryan said without taking a glance at her.

''Oh, okay. I go do my work. See you later.'' Tracy said with a smile but Ryan didn't even look at her. She feel a little upset and just go away from there.

Then, without realizing it, Ara was busy doing her works and didn't know that working hours are over. She stood up and look around. Most of her colleagues were already going back home. There only a few people still working there.

She stretched her body a little after all day sitting there doing her works. After a few minutes, she cleared her desk and was ready to go home.

But before going back home, she planned to visit her mom at the hospital. Suddenly, she got a message phone from Ryan. He was asking her to go back home early and have something to talk about. But Ara just ignore it and didn't reply to it.

After work, she directly goes to the hospital. Along the way, she keeps looking and continually reads the messages from him and thought. She wonders what he really wants to say.

After that, she arrived at the hospital. At there, Rachael and William also waiting for her. Then they walked together to visit her mother. After a few hours of spending time with her mother, all of them going back.

Before going back, Ara deliberately asks both of them to hang out for a while at the cafe beside the hospital. Both of them just follow her and agree to hang out together.

She actually still didn't want to going back because she is afraid that Ryan still waiting for her. After all, she still not ready yet to meet him first.

''Ara? Why are you silent? Anything wrong? Your new jobs?'' Rachael ask

''Err...nope! I just want to hang out with two of you.''

''Hang out without talking? Don't you feel it weird? I dont even had talks with you since I arrived here. Don't you feel sorry for me?'' Rachael said while pretend to show her sad face.

William just smiling to see them. ''Ara...you so mean!'' Rachael added her pretended. ''Okay, okay...I'm sorry. I dont mean to do that but I'm really busy with my works.'' Ara said and hug her friendly.

''So, let have fun till night!'' Rachael said excitedly.

''I'm out! I need to work early tomorrow.'' William suddenly barges in.

Rachael gives him a sharp glare after hearing that. Then she looks at Ara and waiting for her reply. ''I also have to work tomorrow...'' She said while grins.

''So, what actually we doing here right now? If both of you dont want to do anything.'' Rachael makes a gloomy face.

All of sudden, Ara gets a phone call. She wondering why Aaron call her at that time. Then, after a few seconds, Ara rushingly wants to go back after got the calls. William and Rachael in the puzzle.

''Ara? Where you want to go?''

''I'm sorry. I have urgent things to do. See both of you later. Bye!'' She said and speedily take her big step.

''Ara! Wait! What had happened?'' Rachael shouting at her.

''Chael, it's okay. Maybe she has something emergency to do.''

''But what I gonna do here without her?''

''I'm still here...with you...'' William slowly said and gaze into her eyes. Rachael was embarrassed and she tries to look away.

''I mean...what will we gonna do here...after all, we dont even know what to talk about...''

''We have. We talk about us!''

Rachael was startled to hear him saying that. She still not believe that William was saying something like that. She sat there stiffly and did not know what to do. She is speechless.

''Um...I dont think you should kidding right now.''

''No! I'm serious right now. Let talk about us.''

''I think...I have to go back.'' She quickly to stand up but William had to pull her hands.

''Chael...please...'' William said with glazed eyes. And after thinking for a while, she returns back to her seat. They remain silent for a while.

''So...what you want to talk about?''

William takes a deep breath before he expresses his words. She waited for a word from him calmly but her heart kept pounding.

''Chael...I know before this I hurt your heart, I make you sad...and keep rejecting you for a long time...I'm really sorry about that. After I thought for so long, I just realized that I really...my heart was...''

''Wait! You dont have to talk about that again. Or whatever it is, dont worry, I will not make any trouble to you. I know we will always friend forever. I will not cross the line again.''

''Chael, no...I dont mean by that. I want to say to you that I also...!''

''Will, I know what you want to say. You dont have to feel guilty at me, after all that only my feelings, I will not...!''

''I LOVE YOU, RACHAEL!'' He finally confesses his love after he realized his real feelings towards her.

''What?!'' Rachael was shocked to hear that. She still can't believe what she really heard.

''Yes, you heard the right thing. I love you, Chael...''

At that time, Rachael really felt her soul already gone. She didn't know how she wants to react to that. She finally can hear his confession after he rejected her before.

Even she happy to hear that, but she still can't accept it easily because she didn't know if he really loves her or he just forces his heart. After all, she worried to break their friendship after a long time.

On the other side, Ara was quickly going somewhere place. He just goes to the location that Aaron send to her before.

On her way, she keeps thinking about Ryan's condition. She didn't know what actually happened but she just thinking about arriving there as soon as possible. She was really worried about him right now!
