5 A little happiness

The next morning, I woke up early. I actually don't have a good sleep after what happened last night. This morning I pretend that what happened last night was a dream only. But, I know that it was a real happen when I got a message from him that he wants to lunch with me later.

'Ugh! It really makes me anxious and makes my mind think too much about him.'

On that day, I try to wear some nice clothes. I don't know why but after he said that he want to lunch together with me later, I suddenly want to make myself beautiful.

''Ugh! What happens to me? I just want to the hospital first then lunch together with him. Why should I wear some nice dress?''

Then, without wasting time, I choose to wear a light souffle yarn high neck long sleeve sweater and blue jeans mini skirt.

After done getting ready, I go out and went to the hospital. Along the way, I got a phone call from someone.

''Hello, is this Miss Ara Arianna?''

''Hello, yes its me.''

''I'm Amelia from Human Resources in Howard Designer Gems Jewelry. I would like to invite you to interview for the Junior Assistant positions in our company. The details I already send to your email.''

''Really?? I get the interview? Okay, I will attend the interview tomorrow. Thank you.''

''Alright, see you tomorrow.''

I was very happy at that moment. I did not expect that finally, I got a call for the interview. I feel grateful that I will take a step ahead near to my dream job. I can't wait to tell my mom about this. She must happy and proud of me.

After half an hour, I arrived at the hospital. I was smiling along the way. Then, suddenly William calls me from behind.

''Ara!''

''William! Hi, good morning.''

''Good Morning too. Why did I feel that you feel very happy right now? Is that because of your mom's operation success?''

''That's one of the reasons I'm very happy.''

''So, what the other reason? Is Rachael already comeback? Why didn't she call me?''

I burst out laugh after he saying that. ''No, she will be coming this Saturday. You have two more days to await her arrival.''

''So, what actually the other reason?'' He just smiling awkwardly.

''I got the call from one company. And they call me for the interview!'' I jumped a little as I was in joy.

''Really? Congratulations Ara. Finally, you will get your dream job. Good luck with your interview tomorrow.'' He hugs Ara casually.

''Thank you, Will. I will do the best for tomorrow.''

''Are you going to see your mom first?''

''Yes, are you going to work?''

''Definitely. You just go there first. I will visit your mom later if I have my free time okay?

''Okay, bye Will.''

''Bye, Ara.''

Before that, I going to the payment counter first to check the total of the overdue bill.

''Hi, Miss. What can I help you?''

''Hi, actually I got the call from the finance department that my mom's medical bill is overdue and before that, I want to know the total for me provide the money.''

''Wait for a while. I check it for you.''

After a few minutes, they call me back.

''Miss, after I check here, there none of the overdue payment here. All the bills already paid.''

''What? Are you sure? But, they call me yesterday and said I have to pay this morning.''

''It already paid by someone else, Miss. The name here written Ryan Nathaniel.''

''What? Ryan Nathaniel?'' I was surprised. He didn't tell me about this last night. He just said that he can help me but I didn't think that he already pay for it before.

''He put here in the status relationship was your mom son in law.'' She said.

''What?? Oh, okay. It's okay. Thank you for that.'' I just embarrassed to hear that.

I just go straight to see my mom after that. I slowly open the door and I move closer to her in the bed.

''Mom...I'm here.''

My mom slowly opens her eyes. She still looks weak but she looks better than before.

She just gives me a smile. Then, I gently rubbing her cheek. I was in tears to look at her. She still can't speak as she still weak and still use the oxygen.

''Mom, today I got a call from some company. They call me for the interview tomorrow. So, tomorrow I will visit you after I have done the interview okay?''

''Emm, mom...you have to be strong okay. Don't think too much. And don't even worry about me okay? I just fine here. I just...I just want you to be more healthy and after that, we can do things together.''

I just keep holding my tears and I don't want her to see me crying in front of her. I must hold it and show her that I was just fine.

Then, after done visit my mom, I going to meet with Ryan at some cafe. I suddenly feel anxious to see him again.

He actually sends me the location before and I have to there by myself. The thing is, the place we want to eat lunch is very far. I don't even know this place existed.

After one hour and thirty minutes, I have reached that place. As soon I arrived there, I surprisingly see a building next to this place is Howard Designer Gems Jewelry building.

''Wow, so this company was located near here. So, it's easy for me tomorrow to going here. I can directly come here as I know the ways.'' I mumbling by myself outside there.

As I reached there, I shocked once again because the place we want to eat lunch is like a luxurious place. I wonder why he brings me to eat here? Why don't we just eat at the other place? I was thinking there if I want to go in or not.

Then, Ryan called me. '' Hey, why are just standing there? Just come in.''

''I...I...I forget that I have a stomachache. I need to going back.''

''If you didn't come here in three seconds, I will carry you inside here and the other people will see you. Do you want to try it?''

''Okay, okay! I've come in now.''

After a few minutes, I going there with someone to escort me. I just awkwardly follow him until I see Ryan in front of me.

''Err...Hi!''

''Take your seat.'' He coldly said to her.

I just make a glare at him. He thinks that I want to greet him happily. I think he must be a rich person. And for accurately, he is like a billionaire businessman. Or did he works with a mafia? That's why he looks like a secret person. I thought in my mind.

''I already order the food. You can just eat it.''

''Oh, okay.'' After he said that, I just started to eat by myself. I really angry at that time and I just eat whatever on the table except for the seafood food. I can't eat seafood because I have a bad allergy to that.

He also ate and the way he eats was very delightful. I believe that he really has good manners when comes to eat, but not in his personality. He very cold and arrogant person. I don't know how would I live with him later.

We just eat in silence and didn't talk to each other. I wonder if he always eats alone before this.

''Umm...can I talk?''

''Go ahead...''

''Are you always eating with silence?''

''Why we need to talk when we had eaten? Didn't it disturb your mouth and at the same time it looks dirty to talk with food in the mouth.''

''Oh, I see. I will finish my food first at my mouth before I talk.'' I quickly chew the food inside my mouth. ''Actually, I want to ask what are your profession? Did you a businessman? What business did you do?''

''Too many questions. Which one should I answers first?''

''Err...did you, businessman?''

''Oh, no wonder your life looks luxurious. Your house, your eating place, and also your car.

''Just use it for your own. I did provide it for your use in the future. I dont want my wife in a poor state.''

''Did you judge my looking? I know I'm not beautiful, and I'm short and I do not have a good figure of the body but my weight is 49.5kg! I'm not fat okay!'' Suddenly I raise my voice as I was mad.

''I dont saying anything about you. I just want you to use it for your own good. Just use it to buy more good clothes so that you will look matching beside me if I bring you out another time.''

I suddenly feel embarrassed and slowly lower my head. I was too emotional at that time. ''Err...hahaha...I just kidding. I just want to test my voice. I have pain in my throat before.''

Ryan was secretly smiling to see her like that. He knows that Ara has a special thing about her.

''Are you done eating? Let us go.''

When we going out from there, I suddenly feel itchy in my body. I just feel weird about it. Why I suddenly feel itchy? I dont eat seafood before. Did I eat it? As I know, I just eat the fried rice and soup.

''So, where are you going after this?''

''I going to the hospital for a while then I going back home.''

''Did tomorrow you have something to do?''

''Umm...oh ya! I have an interview tomorrow morning. I finally got my interview in my love job. Do you know, the company is there. It the company that I will go for an interview tomorrow.'' I said while pointing out the building next to it.

''Oh, okay. See you tomorrow.''

''Okay, bye.'' I was feeling upset that he does not even send me back. He really cold man!

I was waiting there for my grab car. But, at that time, my body was looking a little red and itchy. I think I maybe accidentally eat the seafood before.

''Argh! After I got home, I will take my allergy medicine to make it less feel like itchy. I don't want it was interrupting my interview tomorrow.''

On the other side, Ryan going back to his office. As they arrived in the office, Aaron asked him something.

''Sir, why didn't you tell Miss Ara about the interview tomorrow?''

''It's okay. Just let make her surprised about it. I want to look at how was her reaction to it.''

''I believe she will make it in the interview tomorrow.''

''Yes. I know she has that talent on her.''
