20 Chapter 20 - Business Contract

~Peter's POV~

It hasn't been long since The Stark Expo but things have finally gotten back to normal, even with MJ knowing that I'm now Spider-man.

~Flashback~

~Peter POV~

After leaving Stark I get Sarah to track Ned's phone, locating him with ease i head in his direction while trying to come up with a decent excuse to tell MJ, and failing in doing so.

Not wanting to waste to much time I head towards Ned and MJ without changing out of my suit, I just asked Sarah to hack into the cameras where necessary.

I swing and land gently behind Ned as MJ appears to be finishing off her rant at Ned. She eventually spots me, and narrows her eyes at me and storms towards me. Her look of rage actually makes me consider fleeing for me life.

"Don't even think about it Peter Benjamin Parker" She growls at me.

'Oh I'm in danger'

As MJ storms in front of me, I'm impacted by a rather hard hit to the side of me face only to be hugged a second later.

"I'm glad your okay" I hear her say muffled against my chest.

"I'm always okay, I'm Spider-Man" I say in exaggerated tone of cockiness.

"Boy" MJ says giving me a death glare.

"I'm sorry don't hurt me" I say lift my hands in surrender.

"So your Spider-Man?" MJ questions/States.

"I am, I'm sorry for not telling you MJ" I begin, "I kinda forget you didn't know" I add sheepishly.

"God your such an idiot" She whispers to herself. "Let's go home I need a nap" she adds walking past me.

"You good Ned?" I ask seeing him still frozen slightly.

"Huh oh yeah" Ned says jogging past me.

~Flashback End~

I still shutter lightly at the memory of her anger, granted it was totally disserved on my part I shouldn't have lied to her for so long not even Ned was spared from her wrath.

Anyways since the couple days after The Expo I've done little Spider-Man work as crime has seemingly taken a couple days off. So I've been spending time between May and MJ and working with Ned, he says he has a surprise for me when I make in to the HQ.

Which is actually where I'm heading now, Spending time just walking to our Hq for both our Company and Spider-Man business I've come to pity those who can't swing through the city like I do, walking is such a bore.

Nevertheless I make it to Catalyst Games Hq and enter Neds office, Which is still crazy to believe, and see my friend sitting at his desk with a massive smile on his face.

"Peter, I've been expecting you. Why don't you take a seat my dear boy" Ned tells me while gesturing to the seat across from him.

I do rise an eyebrow at him, wondering why he's acting like across between Dumbledore and a Bond Villain.

"Thank you for the offer" I greet, taking the offered seat.

"Now then let's get down to business" Ned says slowly clasping his hands in front of him. He stares at me a little before pulling out a file from one of his draws.

"Read it" Ned says.

Opening it I see the Icon and Name of a company that has gifted myself and Ned many hours of fun. "Activison" I whisper.

Reading the rest of the file quickly, I look at Ned who's still smiling. "Is this real?"

"Yes, our test game for a first person shooter wasn't a massive success, but we knew that, but Activison was impressed by the AI of our combatants in the game" Ned explains.

"So they wish to have us work in their newest game to Treyarch more time to focus on Zombies, Campaign and Online issues, we'll mainly be working on the enemy's that the will player faces. But I do believe this is a very good opportunity" Ned finishes.

"That's incredible, we've been playing the Call of Duty games for years. What's the new game called?" I ask.

"Black Opps 2" Ned tells me with a grin, as Black Opps is our favourite game to play in our spare time. After all there's no greater joy then crushing a bunch of 12 years in CoD.

"Have you agreed yet?" I ask him.

"Of course I have, here this is what we'll be working on" Ned hands over another file.

"Why is everything in files?" I ask taking said file.

"It seemed cool at the time, but now the files are beginning to take up space" Ned states with a huff.

"I would imagine so" I agree reading I've the file, it's pretty simple we'll be focusing on the AI used for the Campaign and helping creat the new Zombies AI.

"How much are they paying?" I wonder out loud.

"A couple million, but that's not important" Ned says getting me to look at him. "We could use this too our advantage to game our name out there a little more in the gaming scene"

"Your not wrong working with Activison itself is a benefit as it will allow us to see how they work and create games" I agree.

"Also while I have you, both Candy Crush and Clash of Clans have been picking up quite the player base. So I've decided to expand out Company to other countries, I've got us Five new bases. Two in Europe, One in Australia and Two more in America" Ned tells me.

"Hmm you've been busy. Have you thought of graduating early? It would give you more time" I ask curious.

"I've been thinking about it, but I didn't know if you and MJ would do it aswell or stay in school" Ned explains.

"Ma, don't worry about I'll convince MJ to Graduate with us" I tell him.

{Peter there's a shoot out in Harlem between the police and an unknown gang} Sarah tells us interrupting our conversation.

"Ah well I gotta go to work" I say as I put in the pass code for the Spidey HQ.
