42 Ch. 40 - The Meeting

As the sun falls and the moon replaced, It was time for the meeting that Doflamingo set up.

Inside his room at Kamar-Taj, Doflamingo was training with his magic combined with his strings.

So far, he could now increase the rate of the spinning Tao Mandalas.

Doflamingo was thinking of a name for this new move of his, since it can't be called Tao Mandalas anymore as the Tao Mandalas's purpose is both to attack and defend.

But this move is his is pure offence and there's no room for defense anymore, so basically he has to make up a name for it.

"Spinning wheel of death!" Doflamingo's face lits up as he came out with a name.

"Nah, that sounds so bad." Doflamingo immediately refused the name as he started to think more coop names.

"Whirling Ring of Destruction!" This time, Doflamingo was sure of the name he came up as he nodded his head in approval.

"I'm really good at names. Anyways, it's already nighttime, time to meet those old guys." Doflamingo said, referring to the Mafia Bosses that are waiting for him at the meeting.

"Matilda, send me the location." Doflamingo said to himself as Matilda responded.

"Alright."

*Ding!*

His Nokia phone suddenly lits up as Doflamingo saw a message that states the exact coordinates and the address of the location.

"Oh? It's the Fisk Tower. I remember selling that building, right?"

"Yeah, and it's the Gambino family who bought it." Matilda informed him as Doflamingo nodded and fixed his attire.

Instead of the previous robe since it was a requirement to wear on Kamar-Taj, Doflamingo was now wearing his usual outfit whenever he goes out as The Joker.

A dark pink suit with a black sleeves inside, the tie was also pink. He then rests his huge pink coat on his shoulder and wore his fancy glasses.

"Matilda's right, I really do looked like a Mafia Boss. But what's wrong with that? Atleast I look badass." Doflamingo spit on his palm and flicked his hair upward.

"That's better." Doflamingo mumbled as he wore his sling ring and opened a portal near the Fisk Tower.

"Let's see what you guys have for me." Doflamingo muttered as he prepared to enter the Fisk Tower.

"He's late." One of the Mafia Boss said in an annoyed tone.

"Victor, are you disrespecting him?" Joseph, the current head of the Gambino family, glared at him as he continues.

"If the Joker heard what you just said, then you're not the only one who'll die, we might also be counted." Joseph reminded him as The Mafia Boss, who is now known as Victor, scoffed.

Actually, he was the new head of his Mafia Family, after he overthrown the previous head, who is also his father and the one who accepted to be under Doflamingo's rule.

And since he was new, he didn't experienced The Joker's horror, so he was a bit arrogant. In his eyes, his father was just a coward as he wanted to be under a protection of someone, especially since Wilson Fisk, the previous Kingpin just died.

'He's just a single man, and you're all afraid?' Victor didn't forget to mock the other Mafia Bosses who has experienced the terrifying Joker.

"Oh, looks like I'm on time." Doflamingo stepped inside as he casually walks and sat on the chair in the middle of the long table.

"You're late." Victor scoffed at him as he glared at Doflamingo's back.

Doflamingo stopped in his tracks and turned around to face the 'brave' man.

"Sorry who are you?" Doflamingo made a confused face as he asked.

"Victor." Victor introduced himself, not bothering to say his surname.

"Well, Victor. Congratulations, today will be the day you'll meet God...or maybe Satan." Doflamingo smiled at him and shrugged his shoulders as he flicked his fingers slightly.

*Zing!*

"Wha-?" Victor was about to settle accounts when his eyes suddenly widened in surprise and he stopped moving.

The other Mafia Bosses didn't respond, wanting to watch a good show. And just when Victor was about to retaliate, he suddenly stopped moving, much to everyone's confusion.

Suddenly, they saw a red thin line appearing on Victor's head and before they knew it, his head suddenly fell backwards and blood suddenly gushes out of his decapitated neck before his body fell on the table.

*Bam!*

The Mafia Bosses gulped their salivas in fear as they all stopped moving, afraid that they will be the next one to die.

"Now that Victor is gone, let's proceed to the meeting. Anyways, take the trash away and clean the table off his filth." Doflamingo pushed the rim of his glasses.

Doflamingo finally sat on the chair, as the gang members under Victor's Mafia Gang who were frozen like a statues gulped in fear and finally moved out and carried Victor's body and head while the rest cleaned the table using their clothes. It took them a minute to clean everything before leaving the meeting room.

"So, what's the meeting all about? I'm sure you guys won't just waste my time on things that you can handle, right?" Doflamingo leaned on the table as he smiled creepily, much to everyone's fright.

"W-we have encountered some problems from the Government as they'd started raiding all of our bases and interrupts all of our dealings." Joseph stood up and started reporting the situation as if he is some kind of Doflamingo's assistant.

"That's it? Well, then change your ways!" Doflamingo's mouth twitched as he slammed his palm on the table, making them flinch.

"Instead of selling drugs, sell other things. I'm sure drugs aren't your only business, right?" Doflamingo asked as he squinted his eyes at them.

"We also do other businesses such as selling weapons and human trafficking." Joseph responded to his question.

"Abandon the human trafficking, we never know when suddenly you kidnapped the wrong person. And besides, I'm not a huge fan of human trafficking. You can also sell weapons and if that didn't do any good then go and erect a club or something. If it's still not good, establish an underground boxing where people could bet their money. If that's still not good enough, then cooperate with each other and build a casino and cheat all the rich guys. There's so many other things you could earn money from other than selling drugs or meths. Use your fucking head!" Doflamingo started ranting and giving them suggestions that the other Mafia gangs took note of.

"Is that good enough? Just make sure you avoid the police and the best way to do that is to insert one of your men inside as your spy whenever the police plans on a raid, so you could prepare much earlier." Doflamingo gave another suggestion as Joseph nodded.

Honestly, he already has this inside his mind but he doesn't have any men who is qualified to become a police officer as none of them are even good enough to do service to the citizens. Either they're prideful or a lazy ass bum that only wants to earn easy money.

"That's all. Now, remember, abandon human trafficking and selling drugs, especially to the youth, they're the future of our society, instead of bringing them down to follow our ways, we should protect them and encourage them so that one day, they'll be the ones that we'll need." Doflamingo stood up and said to them as everyone in the room sweated at his speech and thought to themselves.

'Are you the Kingpin of the underworld or a politician running as a President?'

"That's all. The meeting is done, I hope that he next time we meet, all of my conditions will be met." Doflamingo said before standing up and left the meeting room.

'Did I do good?' Doflamingo asked his trusty friend.

'You do know that you just fucked up the entire underworld by those conditions?' Matilda sighed as Doflamingo grinned.

'Don't worry, I got everything planned. Selling drugs and human trafficking is also so old-fashioned, it's time to change ways and a better one at that.' Doflamingo said to her as Matilda cuts off the connection after saying her goodbye.

Meanwhile, Doflamingo went back where he last portaled.

And just when he was a out to leave, he suddenly sensed someone following him in the dark.

And what's unusual was that this follower of his aren't on the ground, but sticking on the walls.

If Doflamingo didn't know what year it is, he'd thought that it was Spider-Man.

Just when Doflamingo was about to call out to his 'stalker'. The said stalker finally moved and dashed towards Doflamingo.

'Danger.' Doflamingo already sensed the intentions of his stalker, so he immediately side-stepped just in time for a sharp katana to pass over him, exactly on where his last position is.

'Katana's?' Doflamingo frowned and looked at the perpetrator and when he saw a man covered in all black, like a ninja, Doflamingo already knew who it was.

'What was it again? The Fingers or something? I kinda forgot their name, but all I know is that they're a group of ninjas under the leadership of 5 people.

'But, as far as I know, they are Iron Fists's enemies, right?' Doflamingo said to himself as, the ninja realized that his sneak attack failed, so he resort to throwing shuriken.

*Fwooosshh* x3

Three shurikens flew towards him as Doflamingo perfectly catched all of them, under the shocked eyes of the ninja.

Doflamingo took this chance to throw the shurikens back at the ninja, while he was still in the state of shock.

However, Doflamingo haven't touched a shuriken yet, so his throw was a bit sloppy and the shuriken didn't even spin that fast.

Fortunately, Doflamingo's strength helped a bit, so the shuriken was more stronger than the average.

*Fwooosshh* x3

*Stab!*

The ninja dodged the shuriken, however, he was too late to dodge the last one, so he was hit on his leg.

"Hnn." Surprisingly, the ninja didn't made that much noise, despite being stabbed on the leg.

'Must be one of their training.' Doflamingo commented as he charged towards the ninja and punched him on the jaw, knocking him unconscious due to Doflamingo's powerful strength.

"Oops, I think I did it a bit too much. I hope he won't die, I still need this guy alive so Matilda could spit information from his mind." Doflamingo muttered as he wore the sling ring and opened a portal through their secret base, right where the newly built prison is.

"Matilda, I need this guy's information by tomorrow, and please check if there's any poison on his mouth. Thanks." Doflamingo said to Matilda who was fiddling on her computer.

"What? Ugh, fine." Matilda, who was watching a movie, was shocked at Doflamingo's sudden arrival but seeing that there's a new body on the prison and Doflamingo told her to read the guy's memories. She knew that she's back again at work.

"I hate this job. I wish ai could do something like fight someone." Seeing Doflamingo leave by the portal, she whispered to herself as another portal but small appeared on her desk.

"I actually have something planned for you. Wanna hear it?" She saw Doflamingo's head thought the portal as he said to her.

"What is it?" Matilda was curious on what he has planned for her.

"Tell me, are you interested in being a hero?"
