127 Ch. 119 - Surprise

"I am God! Kneel before me!" Loki, seeing the destruction that Chitauri has caused, raised his hand in satisfaction before taking a breath of fresh air.

"Big words for someone fake." Matilda spoke while landing on the roof.

"And who are you, ignorant mortal?" Loki turned around to face the voice coming from behind him.

"I'm....Vengeance." Matilda stopped in her tracks and tried deepening her voice as she spoke the last sentence however, it wasn't deep enough so she sounds like she's going through a testosterone medication.

"Hmph, then you can go and die now." Loki scoffed and threw a dagger towards Matilda.

*Humm*

However, Loki was shocked to see that the dagger stayed afloat in front of Matilda as if an invisible hand was holding it.

"...Well, that's quite surprising." After a few seconds, Loki recovered before commenting.

Matilda smiled and dropped the dagger on the ground with a clang before speaking.

However, before she could do so, a sharp object suddenly pierced her on the back, making her wide eyed in shock.

*Schilk!*

"But this is more surprising isn't it?" It turns out, the Loki in front of her has turned into an illusion and the real Loki was behind her all this time.

Matilda tried to turn her head to him but failed to do so and fell on the ground, facing the ceiling.

"Poor you. You didn't even last a second. And here I thought you'd be worthy of my attention." Loki smirked arrogantly as he crouched in front of Matilda and looked at her face.

Matilda raises her arm with her two fingers outstretched. Slowly reaching towards Loki's vision.

"What are you doing?" Loki got confused but didn't back away, he could sense no bad intentions on such a movement.

Matilda then suddenly smirked and pointed her two outstretched fingers to the right side.

With a confused face but getting the hint, turned his face towards the right side when he was so shocked to see Matilda sitting on the stool just fine while pouring herself a glass of whiskey.

"Care for a drink?" Matilda smirked and offered the glass to Loki.

"What?" Loki turned to look at the 'Matilda' that was supposed to be on the ground has disappeared, not even the trace of blood on his dagger can be seen.

"How did yo-? You also know illusion magic?" Loki stood up, trying to maintain his dignity while uttering a guess.

Matilda ignored his question and drank the glass of whiskey before speaking.

"For a magician such as yourself, you have quite a weak mind defense." Matilda said, revealing how she just did that 'Itachi' style shit.

"I am asking you!" Loki growled in anger, he cannot take this kind of humiliation! He has been humiliated by two mortals so far! First, is the tall blonde haired guy he fought and now, a woman?

"And I am obliged not to answer. Anyways, you can have your dagger back." Matilda then grabbed a dagger and threw it towards Loki.

Loki immediately dodged but noticed that the dagger disappeared.

"What the?" Loki was so confused.

"What kind of illusion magic is this? Why can't I see through it!" Loki shouted in anger, making Matilda laugh out loud.

"Is it funny now, mortal? Let's see how you will laugh once I gut your throat." Loki threatened with a dangerous look in his eyes.

"Ahahahah! Didn't you just hear what I said? It's all inside your head." Matilda still continued laughing as she explained. And when Loki finally gets it, she stops and continues.

"And now. Welcome to my world." Saying that with a smirk, the entire surroundings, the burning buildings, the flames, the Chitauri, all suddenly cracked like a glass before being smashed into pieces.

"What's going on?" Loki immediately stood up from the ground and looked around in wariness. The only thing he could see is a room full of weird contraptions and books.

"Like what I said welcome to my world." Matilda said however, she was already gone from her previous position.

When Loki tried to find her, he felt someone tap on his shoulder and just when he turned his head to look, he was met with a fist on the face.

"Your face is really punchable, did your mother tell you that!" Matilda said while shaking off her hand, the one that she used to punch Loki.

This continued for minutes as Loki tried to fight back but he either couldn't touch Matilda or he would be back down on the ground before he could fight back.

"I've had enough!" Loki's anger was at its peak, Matilda could feel it from the tone of his voice.

Loki then slowly bent down backward and spread his arms.

"This is Mind Arts! If I'm inside your head then I'll get myself out!" Loki said as the entire place started crumbling, much to Matilda's surprise.

"Okay, I did not expect that. Though my job here is already done anyway." Matilda muttered before fading away from the darkness.

"Raaaaghhhhh!" With a shivering hand, the place slowly crumbles like earlier as the space cracked until it was finally smashed into pieces like broken glass.

When Loki opens his eyes, he realizes that he was finally back on the rooftop with Selvig, working something on the device that was used to open the big portal in the sky.

"What happened?" Loki groggily said as he realized that something seems to be missing from his hand.

After a few seconds, Loki's eyes were widened when he finally registered that his Scepter is missing.

"Where's my Scepter?" Loki tried to stand but failed to do so.

"Hey." Hearing a familiar voice, Loki turned his face and saw Matilda along with his brother, Thor and Natasha Romanoff.

He also saw the Scepter on Matilda's hand, making Loki realize that the Scepter was snatched from him.

"Bring it back to me!" Loki once again tried to stand up but failed and when he finally searched for the reason, he saw Mjolnir resting on his chest.

"Oh for Odin's sake." With a hopeless sigh, Loki lifelessly dropped his head back down on the ground.

"Brother. How could you do this?" Thor gave him a disappointed look on the face.

"Don't give me that face, stop pretending you're him!" When Loki saw this, he was extremely triggered as he remembers the disappointed face that Odin gave him a few years ago when he fell from the bridge back on Asgard.

[Less talking. Do what Dr. Selvig says.] On the earpiece, Captain America spoke.

"Roger that, Captain Rogers." Matilda said then chuckled at her own joke.

[Wait hold on.] Before Matilda could use the Scepter to stop the portal, Iron Man suddenly spoke through the earpiece.

"What is it? If that's not something important I'll send you to Jesus!" Matilda threatened. She could almost hear a nervous gulp from the other side of the earpiece

[It's important don't worry. The Council just decided to order for a Nuke to bomb the entire city. We need to deviate the trajectory of the nuke somehow.]

"Well that's important." Matilda said before continuing.

"Don't worry, I'll handle it." Matilda said and just when she was about to give the scepter to Natasha so she could be the one to close it in her stead, someone suddenly spoke through the earpiece.

[How about letting me do this.] Since the signal was a bit static, they didn't recognize the voice, though it sounded familiar to Matilda.

[What the? Jarvis, did someone hack the signal? Who entered the channel without me knowing?] Iron Man spoke soon after, reprimanding Jarvis for not informing him.

[It seems he has gone undetected sir, though from what I can piece from the voice tone, volume and pitch, I could confidently say that it sounds like Donquixote Doflamingo.]

[It's Doffy?] Matilda spoke when she heard Jarvis's explanation and assumption.

[Hey there, miss me?]

[Wait, where are you how did you enter the channel?] Iron Man asks.

[You guys might want to take a look at the nuke.] Hawkeye said, gaining the attention of the Avengers and doing as he said.

When they looked at the nuke, they saw an unfamiliar figure sitting on top of the nuke, seemingly like a feather on top of it as it neither distrupts or causes the nuke to explode or change trajectory.

[Am I high or is that a man on the nuke?] Iron Man said.

[Wait, Stark you're doing drugs?] Captain America asked.
