Chapter 96: Ancient Druidic Ruins
"This is... the manifested form of life essence?!"
Oaks's consciousness gradually awakened.

Other archaeological findings suggest that Stonehenge's function goes beyond star observation and is a place that combines religious activities, power, and death—a "sacred site of worship," also referred to as a "temple."
It stands on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England, with a history of over four thousand years.
Usually, the British government tightly guards it, but at present, there is a group of people dressed in colorful attire holding some event within Stonehenge.
Oaks had already noticed that his spiritual form seemed invisible to ordinary people.
This made it convenient for him to act—he floated above the crowd, carefully observing this prehistoric monument.
The conversations among the crowd piqued his interest.
These people were members of a charity organization called the "Druid Network," which was registered and approved by the Charity Commission for England and Wales just last year.
The Druid Network is a grassroots group of Druid enthusiasts that has existed for many years but was officially recognized as a religion only last year.
They are one of the modern organizations attempting to revive ancient Druidic traditions.
And now, they were gathering together to participate in a millennia-old tradition of the ancient Druidic religion—
Sun worship, welcoming the sunrise on the summer solstice at Stonehenge.
"Is it already... the summer solstice? It's been so long since my training in the Atacama Desert."
Through the conversations of the Druid followers, Oaks learned the current date—
June 21, 2011. In a little over ten minutes, the sun would rise on the summer solstice.
Different from the Druid worshippers who were gathering here purely based on traditional teachings, Oaks had already sensed the awakening cosmic energy within Stonehenge as the time of the sunrise drew near!
"As expected... even if it wasn't directly created by the Eternals, it's definitely related to them!"
However, Oaks still couldn't find that peculiar energy that brought him here.
Shortly after, as the first rays of sunlight on the summer solstice broke through the horizon barrier, they formed a straight line connecting the central axis of Stonehenge with the ancient pathway leading to the stone pillars, amidst the low murmurs of prayer from the Druid worshippers.
In Oaks's perception, the surging power of the sun flowed through this line and into the massive rocks surrounding it.
"So, this is the mystery behind Stonehenge's ability to stand for thousands of years, weathering countless winds and rains... by utilizing cosmic energy?"
Oaks had a realization. The cosmic energy within Stonehenge sustains its existence, and there are other aspects...
"This is..."
In Oaks's perception, the cosmic energy within Stonehenge converged in the central underground area and then, through the concentric arrangement of the massive stone pillars, emitted a faint... healing energy!
"So, this thing is actually a healing center?!"
In 2008, based on the burial artifacts and skeletal remains found around Stonehenge, British archaeologists Geoffrey Wainwright and Timothy Darvill deduced that numerous injured and sick individuals had sought treatment at Stonehenge.
And today, Oaks found out that it was true!

Oaks sighed emotionally. However, he suddenly realized that as the sun rose, the absorption speed of cosmic energy within Stonehenge increased rapidly, and the rate of his spiritual form's dissipation also accelerated abruptly!
"Stonehenge is affecting the balance of cosmic energy and Nature Energy in his spiritual form..."
Oaks took one final look at this magnificent prehistoric monument, intending to leave and return later. However, he suddenly sensed that peculiar energy that brought him here in the first place—

As the spiritual form dissipated and consciousness returned to the physical body, Oaks slowly opened his eyes.
