20 Chapter 20: Who is the Protagonist?

Although Natasha had been a target of SHIELD in her early years, after Clint Barton, a Level 7 agent, coordinated her transfer to SHIELD, Director Nick Fury had great trust in her.

Melinda sighed, holding her forehead.

"So, after discovering information about this potion, she just went all out to obtain it? That's $5,000 per dose, and we're only getting government salaries."

"Hey, Coulson, if you don't explain everything clearly within 30 seconds, the repair costs for that car up ahead will be added to your bill."

"Wow, wow, wow... Melinda, grabbing the steering wheel is too dangerous!"

Coulson quickly parked the car and was about to calm down the about-to-explode Melinda when they saw the door of the plant shop open.

A stylish figure walked briskly to the Audi R8, opened the door, and gestured for the blonde woman behind to get in.

Coulson and Melinda watched as this man, whose every move seemed to radiate with a golden light, put on sunglasses, sat in the driver's seat, made a phone call, and started the car before speeding away, leaving them in disbelief.

"Tony Stark... and his assistant, Pepper Potts."

Before Coulson could say anything, Melinda spoke up. There was no trace of anger on her face anymore.

"It seems like this shop is not ordinary if it's connected to such a prominent figure."

"The mission objective is Oaks Woods's cat. Could this cat be a genetically modified organism? Or a robotic cat? Or a hybrid of biological and mechanical enhancements?"

Coulson fell silent for a moment and sighed.

"In any case, let's focus on the mission. And Melinda, you should read fewer novels and watch fewer movies."

With a cold hum, Melinda was the first to open the car door and step out.

"Don't forget, even though the Bahrain incident had a great impact on me, I have also faced incredible abilities firsthand. Reality is even more exaggerated than novels and movies!"

So, after Tony Stark left, Antonio welcomed the new guests.

"Welcome, both of you. Feel free to look around."

Antonio smiled and introduced the store's services to Coulson and Melinda.

"You may have already felt it from the moment you stepped through the door. The surrounding air is different."

"It certainly is. I think I might consider buying a few potted plants to take home. The air here is so refreshing."

Melinda appeared to be scanning the potted plants on the shelves, but in reality, she quickly analyzed the entire visual range of information.

The young shop assistant in his twenties, the super-effective air-purifying plants, and the unremarkable storefront—it was all briefly described in the information they had seen.

After scanning the surroundings and not finding their target, Melinda exchanged a glance with Coulson without showing any reaction.

Coulson turned to Antonio, wearing his iconic smile that exuded more affability than Melinda as a woman.

"It's truly an impressive creation. But today, we're here for that special potion—the one Dr. Woods presented at the forum."

"Oh, the Restorative potion?"

Antonio's spirits lifted, recognizing that he had a well-off customer. No wonder he appeared composed and extraordinary.

"As a successful gentleman, your discerning eye is truly admirable!"

A bottle of emerald-green potion was carefully placed on the counter by Antonio. He glanced at Melinda, who seemed to be admiring the potted plants, and winked at Coulson.

"Sir, you've come at the perfect time. The boss unlocked a new feature for this potion not long ago. You and this lady will surely be satisfied."

"A new feature?"

Coulson was momentarily taken aback. The potion had been upgraded?

"Tony Stark's Romantic Night with Ten Cover Girls—"

Antonio flashed a meaningful and suggestive smile.

"This potion was the star!"
