6 Contract

(Third POV)

Soon the airship came and everyone got aboard. Aaron already knew that this would be going into the helicarrier and that what he was hoping for. He needed to meet Nick in order to pitch a contract for both of them to get some sort of benefit.

So for the next few hours they sat there in an uncomfortable silence as Aaron thought about what type of deal he could strike with Nick.

—A Few Hours Later—

They had arrived at the helicarrier as the pilot let down the airship. The back door came down as agents were going all over the place carrying weapons, crates, other technology, and some were just giving reports and checking inventory.

In front of us were two people. One was a female with with chocolate colored hair and blue eyes. The other was a male with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes.

The woman had a serious expression plastered across her face while the man had a small smile as he stepped forward.

"Welcome back from the mission. Director Fury wants to see you about a debriefing." Coulson said as he shook Steve's hand with a smile.

"Before that we need to take him to the medics and see if everything is okay. It seems he's cooperating so we don't need to cuffs." Hill said as she started writing things on her clipboard.

"Don't need a medic." Aaron said in his normal voice. Although his normal voice sounded cold his face showed a calm uncaring expression.

"..I see. Then follow us to the conference room." She said as she walked off. Coulson sighed as he turned around and walked off with her. She was always completely serious about her work and job for some reason and she didn't loosen up at all.

As Aaron walked with them he looked around at all the advanced technology they had. He saw things from simple holograms to things that could pieces together tissue from an open wound.

Along with that he saw huge satellites mapped out on a screen. Seeing this he knew that he could get major benefits from them if he could get Nick yo agree on a good contract, so he doesn't become one of their dogs.

Agent Hill stopped next to a door as she scanned a card that had her picture and a barcode on it. Aaron immediately knew it was a clearance card which had a 7 on it, showing that she has level 7 clearance within SHIELD.

The door slid open and Aaron looked at the inside which was nothing but a plain room with a table that had 10 chairs around it.

Aaron looked at Nick Fury as he sat on the opposite side of the table. Everyone else filled in seats as they waited for Nick to speak.

"Alright, let's begin." He said with his hand holding up his head as he leaned in his chair.

Steve cleared his throat as he began retelling everything that happened about them ambushing the trucks, finding and chasing Aaron, and how he killed everyone in the base.

He also told him about all the systems being destroyed.

"Stark you couldn't get in or rebuilt the system?" Fury asked.

"Rebuild it from what? The coding, files, programs, all of it was gone. I could pull some coding out of my ass though." He said sarcastically as he chuckled.

"…I see. Well I'll be having some alone time with this one." He said with a sigh as he looked Aaron in his eyes. Everyone got up and left the room, only leaving Aaron and Fury looking at each other.

"So, tell me about yourself." He said as he twisted and turned in his chair repeatedly.

"What do you want to know?" Aaron said plainly.

"Let's start with your full name." He answered.

"Aaron or Z-24." He answered shortly.

"Well Aaron, it seems like you're in quite the situation right?" He said as he pulled out a vanilla folder and started reading from it.

"An orphan, no known relatives, date of birth is September 1, 2002. Which makes you 10." He said as he closed the file and slid it over to Aaron. He looked over it for a second and his facial expression didn't change.

"So, with this I want to pitch you an idea. Work with SHIELD and you'll have a place to live and all I ask for is your cooperation." He said seriously.

"…Other than a place to live what do I gain. I would be perfectly fine with sleeping on some roof, but what would I gain from this agreement?" Aaron said without a change in his voice and expression.

"Depends on what you had in mind."

"If I work here I'm not working for you, but with you. I'm not gonna be one of your dogs. Firstly, is there a way for me to complete tasks and get money here?" Aaron asked.

"Yes, it's in mission control. What else?"

"I'll work with you on that. I want to have clearance to that and the money that I get from it sent to me on a bank account that I'll make. Lastly, I want technology."

"…What type of technology?"

"Computer chips, mother boards, spare parts wires, stuff like that along with some materials."

"You're asking for a lot considering that we're only asking for your cooperation." Fury said as he sat back.

"Well I know my worth and what I can do. I expected to be rewarded the same amount of effort I dish out.

"…I see. So you want technically, access to bounties, a place to live and all for your cooperation? No, that's not enough of anything for me." Fury said.

"Then how about depending on the difficulty of the mission, I'll assist them on some missions?" Aaron suggested.

"Are you alone better than all of them combined?" He asked.

"I wouldn't know until we had an all out fight, but they forgot to mention the fact that I was able to trap and get around them easily on their chase. I could have killed both Clint and Natasha along with Steve and Tony easily." Aaron said.

"And what about Hulk and Thor?" He asked.

"…" Aaron knew he was just trying to get more information so he stayed silent as Fury sighed.

"Well it seems we have a deal." Nick said as he and Aaron stood up and shook hands.

"It'll take some time to get you a clearance card along with making you a bank account, fake ID, and find an open apartment. Have a tour while you're here." Fury said as he left the room with Aaron leaving soon after him.

(Aaron POV)

As I walked out of the room and into the hallway I looked around before turning left and going down the hall. I walked past some agents and looked around some rooms till I found a place filled with gadgets and other stuff.

Walking in I picked up what looked like some type of pistol, but more futuristic. The technology was definitely better here than it was at the HYDRA base.

Just then I heard my stomach rumbling.

'It's been a minute since I ate.' I put the gun back down as I heard someone's footsteps walking in here. Turning around I saw Agent Hill looking at me in the doorway.

"Would you like me to take you to the Lunchroom?" She asked me. I nodded my head as we walked down the hall made a few turns and left the main base and went into another place that looked like a huge warehouse.

"By order of the director, all of your food is free. Enjoy." She said and walked off.

I could already smell the food coming from the warehouse and it only made hungrier. I walked into the place and casually went up to the counter.

'What to get?' I thought as I looked at the menu. Everything looked good, but I probably can't eat everything…maybe I should get the regular burger and fries.

'Feels like a fast food restaurant.'

"I want the normal burger and fries." I said casually.

"You must be the the boy that the announcement was about?" The man asked as I just nodded. He gave me a piece of paper with a number on it and told me he would call my number when the order ready.

I went over to a table and sat down as I waited for mu food to get done. I observed the people in the hall as they ate and talked to each other while some were taking glances at me.

'Now that I have everything I need from them, I just need to wait this out a few years till I'm able to support myself.' I thought.

"NUMBER 67!!" The mans voice rang as I stood up and got my food. For the next few hours I ate, explored, and finally all of my papers and stuff were ready.

Of course I wasn't just going to be using the bank account they made. I would make a difference one when I got the chance and transfer money over to the one I made.

'Now that I think about it I should make an AI as well. Obviously in the future though.'
