Maze Knights

A long time ago, at the time that the ancient empires were still standing, the maze was being constructed by the Forgotten Masters.

There were three important groups in the maze at that time: Forgotten Masters, Maze Knights and immigrants from all over the ancient empires.

At the top of the final walls of the maze where the lands of the nearest kingdoms could be seen, a woman knight was training and improving her movements.

She was attacking to the target every time with more developed attacks. Her long black hairs were waving with the wind and her brown eyes were focused on the target.

She took a stance with her newest armor. That woman was just got promoted and she didn't know to stop.

As she attacked more and more, she finally made the best attack and stopped with a smile on her face, "I did it!"

The old knight who was watching her, "You are amazing as you always been Emily."

The woman turned back and looked to the man and spoke, "Thanks, Master Robert!"

Robert spoke, "Hey don't call me like that! The people will think that I am a master."

Emily went next to the table that set for a feats and grabbed an apple. She bit the apple and looked back to Robert, "Aren't you?"

Robert, "You shouldn't talk while you are eating."

Emily, "Yes sir!"

Robert started speaking, "So you became that powerful!"

Emily, "Thanks to you master."

Robert, "So I guess, you can show me some tricks don't you?"

Emily was excited. Because a knight master was asking to duel with her, "I will accept with only one condition, if you don't cry at the end."

Robert, "What an unexpected bravery is that? Let's do this!"

Robert unsheathed his sword and took a stance as Emily done the same.

Robert, "So what's the bet?"

Emily, "If I won, I will go to the Golden Fort."

Robert, "Why is that?"

Emily looked inside of the maze and spoke, "That's because I want to be a dragon knight."

Robert laughed, "Forget it, he won't teach it to you."

Emily smiled, "We will see that old man."

Emily moved quickly towards Robert as a falcon. As she passed Robert, Robert's white hairs swung and he felt the power that hit to his sword.

Robert spoke, "What is this speed?"

Emily, "This is the speed of the falcon which is an expert technique to use."

Robert spoke happily, "You found your magical element!"

Emily, "Yes master."

Robert, "So, will you show me some tricks?"

Emily, "Are you sure about that?"

Robert, "I'm still working. Come at me."

Emily this time jumped to the air as Robert took a stance and she landed to back of Robert.

But Robert was expecting this surprise attack and turned as fast as possible to block the incoming attack from Emily.

As they started to clash, they attacked more powerful each time.

But at the end Emily attacked with a powerful attack that Robert was unable to block.

As Robert was pushed to the grass, Emily started running towards him.

She jumped again but didn't land, stayed in the air. Robert turned back but he didn't see Emily.

He suddenly felt the sword of her on his back.

Robert, "I'm amazed. You have grown so far!"

Emily sheathed her sword back and came next to her master,

Emily, "Thanks master. But this is not enough."

Robert, "Are you sure about being a dragon knight?"

Emily, "I am."

Robert, "Then you should go to Golden Fort and meet with your new master."

Emily happily shouted, "So he will teach me."

Robert, "I'm not so sure about that. But you can at least speak with him."

Emily, "Master, I will learn the techniques and come back to defend the maze."

Robert looked to the outside of the maze and sighed, "Listen Emily, the army of the dark emperor is coming."

Emily, "I know master, that's why I have to learn it."

Robert, "Listen, I am going with some other masters to support the kingdom next to our maze."

Emily, "No master! You can't do that! We are safe at the maze. You don't have a chance against the dark emperor. Don't you know that?"

Robert looked to Emily, "I'm proud of you kid. Go and learn this."

Emily hugged her master and started running towards the castle while both Robert and Emily were crying. After two days she learnt the sad news about her master and she decided what to do.

She had to learn the dragon magic as fast as possible to defend the maze from the power of the dark emperor.
