The deal started with his soul ripping away from his body and dragged by the deity across the mortal realm and into the Celestial's. Li Chuanlin is ordered to retrieve two powerful artifacts that were ever forbidden to be used by just any. Sealed artifacts that are capable of waging war against the Gods and even the Jade Emperor. In order to do so, he must journey to the Underworld, which is completely terrifying as he has no power against any magical creatures that he may encounter, he doesn't even know if he'd get by without being noticed by the King Yama and his soul be shattered and sealed in a jar for all eternity. However, along the way, he encounters companions that would help him secure his goal in the Underworld and be able to find cure for his dying mother.
