How was she auspicious?

Jai Jin

The rain harshly fell onto the Earth as she rushed under the protection of the bus stop.

There was a boy.

She wished she would have just ran in the rain.

————————————————————————

Heavy feet clapped against the pavement at full speed. The heavy summer rain causing this.

The umbrella-less girl covering what she could with her thin arms.

Seeking sanctuary at a nearby bus stop. Rushing trying to see until she finally made it to the little covering.

A boy sat on one of the seats. Not bothering to look at her. To immersed in whatever he was listening to. Not at all bothered by the heavy rainfall.

She sat down next to him, not even moving a inch while she does. Then looks at her outfit dissatisfied with the now wet jeans and blue sweater. Shivering slightly from the wind that came with the rain.

Almost working to take her out. So she sat and wait. Not for the bus.

For her friend to pick her up. But the bus arrived first. Taking all things but one took off into the summer night. Only leaving behind a school ID.

The girl curious picked it and before she could read it. Gets startled by her friend d beeping her horn.

"GET IT BRO!" He friend shouted at the top of her lungs.

"COMING!" Jai yelled forgetting totally about the instance before.

Only slightly curious about the boy she had met. Also why he was was so intriguing to her. The boy with the dragon tattoo in his leg anyway almost covered by his shorts.

He cried out in utter frustration. He had lost his school ID again in his last year of high school. He couldn't believe he was so careless in the first place.

But that had to wait because he had to go to work.

The bus ride seemed longer then usual. The hours slower at the convenience store he worked at. Seeing all types of shady people come and go. Some high schools having a late night out. Nothing exciting g at the least.

The only thing he seemed to have a kick out today. Was the soaking wet girl next to him. He seen her before. Probably at school, but he wasn't going to let her know that at all.

After all it was none of his business. He did t even really care for his classmates. And now he had just lost his ID. So he had bigger things to worry about besides a girl.

So he pushed her in the back of his mind and mindlessly served each customer as they came and went. No matter how strange they were. Or what they bought.

This was the regular.

So when it was time to go home he would wait for the next shift before heading into the night. I effected by the drinks on the street or hookers. This as he said was the regular.

Even for a boy like him. Who didn't always have the life of a middle class person.
