Markus is my best friend he always has been. Oh, how rude of me! Hello, I'm Zinnie Chong. I've been friends with Markus for 7 years. I'm 16 by the way! I have a secret that Markus doesn't know about. It's really embarrassing, the secret is that I like him! He is the best. He's there for me whenever I need company. He's handsome and sweet, and there's so much more. But, too bad, he's not single. Markus has a girlfriend, her name is Rachel Winston. Rachel is a pretty girl. She has good taste in music, she can cook well. Rachel is one of my good friends. I always get jealous when I see her with him. But of course, I can't. But that's okay. Next week is May 14th. Markus's birthday! He's turning 17 next week. I want to surprise him. So I've set up a calendar for this special day! Right now it's 7:31 AM and Markus is waiting for me at the door! " Rachel? Hurry, we're going to be late! " Exclaimed Markus. Zinnie felt different, " oh " Zinnie said, " do you ever plan on dumping her? " asked Zinnie. Of course, Markus was shocked and laughed. " Never! " he laughed, " I promised to marry her when we're older, in Tokyo, Japan " Markus proudly said. Zinnie was frozen, " isn't that a bit too far from Canada? " Zinnie asked, " Don't worry, Zi. You'd bring you're fiancé in my wedding! " Markus protest. ( I wish that was you ), Zinnie thought. " Y-you have such a big imagination! " exclaimed Zinnie, " now let's get going to school " Zinnie told. " Yeah, let's " Replied Markus. For the rest of the walk, Zinnie was quiet. They soon they arrived at school. There they saw Rachel.
