The light faded and the 3 in the back of the cart looked around confused. Nothing seemed to have changed but they had certainly heard Mikax's voice. Zed finished undoing Caleb's restraints. Once done he poked his head out of the cart to see that they were sitting in the courtyard behind the guild hall.

Mikax was talking to Hesa who had seen the teleportation circle appear as she was practicing. She knew where Mikax was and what today meant so seeing the circle appear meant that the operation had ended one way or another. Once the cart appeared she was happy to know that Kydorzia and Zed had successfully saved Arlyne's father on their own.

The trio in the cart got out and approached the two talking. Before anyone could say anything Caleb bowed to Mikax. "Thank you for taking my wife's request. I am forever in your debt."
