1 Lost Glasses Part 1

"so where am I going?" I asked the group of other fifth years that had guided me around the halls for the last hour. "Charms," Lilly a red headed Gryffindor pointed at the piece of parchment with my schedule on it, "just down the hall" "okay" I nod, folding my schedule and stuffing it into my robe pocket. "here are your books, we'll get you a bag at the next hosgmede trip" Lydia, a long haired Ravenclaw with really large eyes dumped three very, heavy looking books into my open arms. I staggered a little under the weight but recovered "and here's your wand back" I took my wand between my teeth "good luck" I looked at the group of girls giving me awkward thumbs up and grinned, hopeful. ", see you in transfiguration" I lifted my hand from the stack of books as a goodbye and began slowly staggering backwards "Y/N" Lilly started holding her hands out, concerned "it's fine, I got it" I continued walking backwards shifting my arms to balance the books "Y/N seriously, turn around" "really Lilly, I'll be fi-" I crashed into someone taller and wider than me, a boy, most likely. I dropped my books, tripping over my own heels. I fell to the floor, my reading glasses skidding across the hard surface. I groaned in pain ,pushing myself up. "are you alright?" I ask the person I'd knocked into who was picking himself up. "yeah....I'm fine-" He stopped looking right at me.

I caught my breath in my chest. "H-hi! ummm... I'm sorry" I look away bashfully, busying myself with my books "I wasn't looking where I was going I-" "don't worry about it, I was distracted anyway." He laughed helping me out. "thanks" I gave him a warm smile,taking the other books off, him and he flashed me a winning one . "now that I've been a gentleman and helped you out ,would you be so kind as to return the favour and find my glasses?" "oh my god- of course, sure!" I stood up brushing down my skirt and looked around, searching for them. "here" I picked up the pair nearest to me and handed them to him, as he'd already stood up. "thanks" He sighed gratefully, taking them .I smiled hastily, grabbing the other pair and hurrying off down the hallway my cheeks bright red from the embarrassment
