121 Let Me Mark You

Vivian’s POV

"And what then?"

I didn't directly answer Alen's question; instead, I asked, "Do you have more fiancées, by any chance?"

Upon hearing my words, Alen first looked puzzled and then burst into laughter.

I could tell that if he had been injured, he might have laughed until he was shaking all over. Alen's attitude made me somewhat angry.

He had a fiancée and yet he was tempting me. When I pointed this out, he didn't seem inclined to offer any explanation, only laughter.

Did he find what I said amusing?

"Alen, what's so funny about this?" I waited for a whole minute, and Alen didn't stop laughing. I said with a stern face, "Are you making fun of me?"

"No, Vivian, I didn't mean to make fun of you," Alen said, struggling to stop laughing, biting his lips hard, "Vivian, didn't you realize that your question was filled with jealousy? You care about me, right?"
