The Witches Plan

She was about going when he grabbed her by her forearm and then he pulled her into a tight embrace.

Her eyes went wide immediately he did that  but then she froze again when she heard the word she never expected to hear ever from him.

"I'm sorry!"

Anna could not comprehend what just happened. What he just said. It was more like a dream to him.

Meanwhile Axel closed his eyes, with his heart beating loudly in his chest. He didn't plan for it. He didn't plan to do it but then he just couldn't bear to see her mad , angry and crying. He gritted his teeth and he blamed himself for making her cry and then he disengaged from the hug gradually.

Anna stared at him, her anger dissipated already. She still couldn't believe he apologized to her. It was still a shock to her.

The both of them stared into each other's eyes for minutes with an overwhelming silence in the room.

Anna sighed and then opened her mouth to speak.
