A Deal

There's nothing here Elmo" Catherine said looking intently at the book.

"What did you say?" He asked and snatched the book from her.

His eyes widened immediately. Truly the pages were blank and nothing was written in it.

"No, something must have happened. There was something there!" Elmo argued and Catherine sighed.

"Elmo, you have to stop this madness. This isn't going to get us anywhere. Fine, we will find Anna but just give us time. Time is all we need" Catherine tried explaining but Elmo was adamant.

"Time, you eat. It's been two months now and Anna has not been found. What more time do you need huh? Mum we need to find Anna!" He yelled again in gritted teeth.

"There's no point explaining to you Elmo, since you are so adamant! But please don't ruin yourself because of her. Anna would hate to see you this way. Give yourself a break" Catherine said almost at the verge of breaking into tears.
