In one word, his uncle wouldn't be able to run his mouth to anyone even if he wanted to because he was bound by an oath to Aldric, with death as the consequence for breaking it. Fortunately for Aldric, his uncle valued his life and knew better than to gossip.

Unfortunately for Aldric, the Winter Court's disarray forced him to miss dinner. Instead, he was preoccupied with compiling a list of high faeries destined to meet their end by his hand, while also discerning which ones would prove valuable to him in the long run.
