A TRIP BACK IN TIME.
How dare… ohhh apologies Alpha… I didn’t know it was you”
“Beta Alex!!. That’s enough , we have more pressing matters to attend to.. You can continue this later” Alpha Hunter said while looking at my body with disgust in his eyes.
“ What could be more important “
“ROGUES “
Those six letter words hardened my father’s features and immediately he left with Alpha Hunter .
When I came back to it I was in my attic of a room with blood sipping through my shirt.
As I still stood in front of the mirror ,I began loathing my appearance. I had brown straight long hair that I couldn’t be bothered to take care of, I had a shadow of a curve but was not defined as I wasn’t fed regularly. My best features were always my eyes, they were the brightest blue eyes I had ever seen and seemed to sparkle when in sunlight. I loved my eyes to the tilt as they were the only thing I had inherited from my mother.
As I loved them , my father did the opposite. He hated them to a fault , with a fearful passion as he had said on multiple occasions , it reminded him of his mate and how she was gone .
Ever since my mother was killed , my life changed for the worst . Before then I was loved and cherished by not only my parents but also my pack .
My father was Beta of the Silver Moon pack , a pack I was born into . My mother was original from the creek oak pack , a little pack east of ours . A pack know for it’s peaceful and calm life and it’s interaction with humans that went by.
It was one of these human , my mother came across in her young age . She fell in love with him and decided to give him a chance . She knew it was forbidden as Wolves and Humans are not allowed to mate. She was also aware of the fact that she had a mate out there searching and yearning for her.
“ It felt like love at first sight…. I was ready to settle with him” as a story she would tell me .
Against her wolf’s opposition , her pack’s threat of disownment and her better judgement she mated with him and took in . How joyous she felt.
The fact that she was expecting , solidified her moving in with her lover in the Human world .
Her parents didn’t know what else to do , so they turned to the elders of the werewolf council . The Council were a group of the wisest and oldest werewolves to ever exist , they oversaw the affairs of every single pack and ensured peace and harmony was maintained .
A meeting was called and it was during this meeting my mother came across her true mate , Beta Alex.
“ Evelyn!! Time to go , the elders are here “ Her parents called her from her room .
Unbeknownst to them , Evelyn had sneakily gone to the river located deep in the forest to avoid any confrontation with the elders . She knew the elders would give her an ultimatum
Either she abandons her silly thoughts of her lover and stays back in the pack with her expecting pup . Or
She would be disowned by her parents , exiled by her packs and cut of from everything she ever knew as home .
She would have to pick an option as the elders decision were final and she was at a roadblock on what to do.
Yes , she loved her lover with all her heart or “so she thought” and was not ready to depart from him but on the other hand, she also loved her pack and was not ready to lose the only home she had ever known.
It was while her mind was preoccupied, she was ambushed by the most intoxicated scent ever . It smelt like home …… A home she didn’t know she longed for . She didn’t have to look for where it came from because it stood right in front of her in the form of a man .
“MATE “ her wolf was going wild and so was she .
It was at that moment she knew what she felt for her lover was a measly infatuation. It couldn’t measured up to what she felt in that moment neither could it compare to the emotions she witnessed fleeting through his eyes.
“MATE , MINE “ She heard him murmur . He gave her a very long look over and when he got to her belly ,he gave a very confused but hurt look .
A look she never wanted to see again , a look that made her lower her head and for the first time she felt immerse regret and guilt .
Regret she didn’t wait for her mate and guilt she mated with another male and was expecting for that said male.
“How?! “ he was more than hurt now , he was angry and frustrated .
He sniffed the air as well as me , hoping to get a scent of the male she laid with . Wanting to inflict bodily harm ,she was sure .
“ Human?!!!.... How could you?!!!” He roared
She felt her heart hammering in my chest , her wolf was whimpering uncontrollably and she began sobbing .
“ I’m sorry!!. I should have waited .. I don’t know what came over me “ she pleaded my case .
“What’s his name!!?... Tell me!!.” His eyes were changing… his wolf was taking over .
“W..What!. No! I can’t tell you “ ohh what a wrong move she made .
“YOU DARE PROTECT HIM?!!. Do you love him… is that it?!.” He had shifted halfway. His ears and eyes were that of his wolf but the rest were that of him . His height had drastically increased .
GOD , was she scared.
“W..wh..what ?!! It isn’t that… I just don’t want you to hurt him” God this was embarrassing.. “ when did I start stammering “ she thought.
When he saw how terrified she was , the simmering male calmed down .
“What’s your name “ his voice was low and husky having lost all previous evidence of anger .
“Evelyn, Evelyn Summer .. member of the creakoak pack… and you are? “ I did the necessary introduction.
“ My name is Alex Jordan . Beta of the Silver moon pack “ He took pride in his post and pack and who could blame him . His pack was one of the strongest one there is . It had it had it’s merit in not only strength but in also territory and largeness of pack members .
As he kept looking at her , she summoned the courage and asked the question burning in her heart. The question that made her heart hurt and her eyes water .
“Are you going to reject me?.. If you do , I won’t blame you “
