After we were taken to the station, our statements were taken down. It was during the wait that Gamma Rhett came in. I could already sense him before he came in.

The moment my extra senses which was an ability I was probably gifted by the Moon Goddess caught up on his scent, I willed the ground to open up and swallow me. Sadly, that could only happen in movies.

When our gazes interlocked, I almost melted with shame. I couldn't believe this. It felt like I was caught in an abomination. Like I had become my parents.

I felt so horrible.

However, my hurt was soon toppled when Lupe saw him and tapped me, happy that he'd get us out and he walked out like he hadn't seen me in cuffs. Like he didn't care.
