I barged into the living room. "Liam. Get up, it's time to go." I said.

Liam sprung up without hesitation. "Yayyy!" He shrieked.

Kylo sheepishly emerged behind me. I extended my hand to Liam, almost forgetting Lupe's presence until she stood up.

"I guess it's time for me to also leave then." She declared.

I nodded at her and faked a smile. "Yeah. We'll walk with you. Where do you stay?"

"Huh? Didn't you know?" Lupe arched a brow.

I got confused. "Know what?"

"That we are neighbors! I live in the next building." She declared.

My mouth popped open. I did my best to avoid neighbors and other people, so much that I didn't study their faces. It was no wonder Lupe and her late friend seemed to know so much about me back at the restaurant.

I had to scratch my nape nervously. "Err. I didn't know because…"

"Because you'd rather stare at the floor than look at people, Isleen. That's what." Cullen hissed.
