45 Last time to say the truth

Evena sighed at Ryder's forgetfulness and sat on the chair. 

"Hey Jayden, where are you?" Ryder asked through the mind link. 

"We are combing the forest looking for any sign of Ava." Jayden replied. 

"Are you close to the pack?"

"No, I am not. Do you need me, I can rush back immediately."

"Don't bother, continue with what you are doing."

"Are you sure?" Jayden asked. 

"Yes, I am sure."

Ryder looked at Evena, "he isn't close by. Must someone be there to pull us out. Can't you do it yourself?" he asked. 

"Ryder, we are going into Lily's subconscious. We need someone we can trust to pull us out, I can't do it." Evena explained impatiently. 

"What happens if we aren't pulled out?" Ryder asked. 

"We lose our consciousness and remain trapped there forever. Our mortal body is going to slowly rot." Evena answered. 

Ryder winced at this, "We need to get someone then." he said.
