SQUAT AT HOME

"Come on, this way!" Jude takes steps downward and we both follow him but the wolf keeps growling and coming nearer.

"Alrighty. I'm gonna stay here and buy you time. Hurry up, okay?" He winks at me. I can see that even in the dim illumination of getting close to the streets.

"Rose, mum, Greg, go, go, go." This is all what I can say and once we reach the streets, Jude appears behind us and hugs me tightly. I hug him in return, it shocks me too but just, you know?

"So, to the pent house?" I ask mum.

"What penthouse?" She replies, and Rose smirks.

"Alpha Karl's. MoonTeam's." I retort, and Jude scoffs.

"Annihilated." Greg clips.

"How?" Jude bursts into laughter.

"Let's put that behind us now, okay, kid?" He says l, forcing back more laughter.

"Can you help me ask him what's so funny?" I grin at him, and ask Rose.

"What's so funny, Alpha Jude?"
