1 Her Situation

"Is that a yes or a no?"

I can hear his scruffy voice crying out of his throat as I continue to write down on the once blank paper.

"Why do you need the funds?" I look up, into the young males eyes and he immediately looks away, his dark lusty eyes out of my view.

He coughs out, adjusting in his chair as his ears gets red in embarrassment. I patiently wait for his answer and when he doesn't respond, I say.

"So you don't need the funds."

He finally summons courage to look back at me and his eyes widens with something other than lust. "I-I do. I really do."

"Why do you need the funds?"

"To pay for my house bills."

I tilt my head and narrow my eyes at the same time. "Why do you need the funds?"

He looks up at me in shock, blinking a couple of times. Intertwining his fingers together, he answers sullenly. "My mother has a rare disease and I can't afford to-"

I stand on my feet. "It has been transferred to your account."

"Ho-"

"Our technology is far more greater than yours, human."

His mouth closes immediately at my stoic tone.

"And no, I will not go out with you."

His mouth then opens to argue but I am already out of the room, the door closing behind me.

"You did a number on him, princess."

My feet stops immediately and I turn back to stare at the guard who spoke. His midnight hair catches a bit of the sunlight and the smirk on his face disappears when he catches my gaze.

"I did, didn't I."

** ** **

He rolls off me and lays by my side with a loud creak erupting from the bed and we continue to pant, our breaths becoming mingled. Without warning, I hop on him and he smirks up at me, his hair plastered on his face by sweat.

"Another round? You sure have a lot of stamina."

He eyes focus on my chest and I don't make any effort to cover myself up.

"I am only charmed by your will to please me, Romeo."

His hands slowly climbs up to my chest with his eyes fulled with something I have been coming face to face with all my life, lust.

"My name isn't Romeo but I am a hell of a lucky guy to find myself in your bed and to be able to touch you."

The door opens in the next second and I turn to it casually, to see my cousin standing in place of it. She doesn't look surprised to see me with a different male wolf. The male on the other hand, drags the sheets to his bare chest.

"Izzy, mum said you should be at the dinner table in five minutes."

I sense the male's withdrawal and his hands leaves my body.

"As she instructed, I will be there in five minutes or more." Depending if I decide to take a quickie.

She nods her small head vigorously and she pulls the door to herself in her attempt to close it. It closes shut and the male under me groans instantly, with his hands covering his face. "The little princess saw us. This is bad, this is bad."

I hop off him, bending down to grab my clothes and I throw his to him. "She's not going to tell, this is not the first time she has seen me with a male. I trust her to keep a secret."

I hear no more sounds from him but I can very much sense his eyes on me.

"She knows that you sleep about? I didn't even know that until now."

"Like I said, she will keep it a secret, she has been doing so for a very long time.' I say when his terrified voice reaches my ears. "I'll call you when I need you next, Romeo."

With one last look at my clothes, I leave the room and head straight for the dining room.

"You called me?"

The grey eyed female turns to me, looking away from my uncle, the king. They are seated on the table, the table that has food on it and by they, I mean, my aunt, my uncle and their children.

"Yes, it's time for breakfast. I'm sure that you're done with the surveys."

As she talks, I walk to my usual seat, close to my little cousin- Summer and I open a mindlink between us.

'How much.'

'Ten dollars.'

I put my fingers into my boot and pull out a couple of dollar notes, passing it under the table to her. 'Is that enough?'

'It's twice as much as what I asked for. That's why I enjoy doing business with you and oh, I hid his scent on you before you stepped into this room.'

I pick up my fork and slice through the plate of food before me. 'Thank you, like always.'

She continues with her meal, acting like our conversation never occurred. I feel another mindlink nudge into my head and I allow it.

Ronald, my other cousin and the first child of my uncle and aunt speaks in my head. 'You're doing your betting again or it's something else.'

'You know the answer to that, Ronald.'

'And I am not happy with the answer. My sister is not up to the age to know about what you're doing...'

I can almost imagine him glaring at his food.

'Your sister had her first experience of sightseeing with your parents. Don't lecture me on that when it's not my fault.'

'TMI, Isabella. I think I'm going to puke on this food.'

'Then your mother is going to be convinced that you don't like her cooking. You better swallow everything down that throat of yours.'

"What are you two talking about? And why are you using mindlink? Is it about a girl?" Aunt Minerva's eyes turns skeptical on us and I continue to eat, let my cousin take the heat of things.

"It's not about a girl, it's partially about a guy..."

I have the feeling to bang his head on this table immediately.

"You're into guys?" Aunt Minerva asks and I remain silent. She is talking to Ronald, not me. Not me!

"No, I mean Isabella is into a guy. Like really into a guy."

I catch the hidden idea in his words but it doesn't make stop eating.

"How much are you into this guy, Isabella." Aunt Minerva turns to me and I don't plan on answering the question. I choose not to answer it.

"She's not into guys, mom. She just likes a lot of them."

I want to smirk when I hear my little cousin say that. She catches her mother's attention immediately, removing the heat of her eyes on me but my uncle... he stares at me intensely and I know that he is on to me. He is always on to me.

The top dies down when my little cousin decided to open her cute little mouth, that's the whole point of things. Her parents would never talk about guys with their twelve years old daughter around. Little do they know that she knows more than she is giving off.

"Did you enjoy your lesson today, summer?"

As the cover up conversation starts, I zone out of everything.

'You're so lucky that Summer is always ready to help, if not you'll be canned food by now.'

I never did close off Ronald's mindlink. 'She helps out because I pay her to do so. I'll say that your sister will be a very rich woman when she grows up.'

I close off the mindlink when I feel his confusion and shock threatening to slip in. Having other people's feelings in my mind isn't as refreshing as it sounds. My chair scraps the floor loudly as I stand up, explaining myself before I get held in a query for it.

"I'm going on a quest with Trixie."

"You've been on these quests of yours for twice in this week now." Uncle Sebastian says.

"I have nothing better to do." I shrug.

"There is a pile paperwork waiting for me in the offi-"

"I've done that, nothing more to do, and right now, I feel like I am wasting me time with paperwork. We have the second highest technology in all the realms and we waste our time with paperwork."

The shimmering sound of a portal invades my hearing and when I catch sight of it, I say. "My ride is here. I will be back before midnight... hopefully."

"Be back befo-"

I have already stepped into the portal and it closes behind me while I smirk at their faces. I turn to see Trixie with her face squeezed into an odd expression and her finger pointed at me.

"Be back before lunch."

I ignore her finger and her narrowed eyes. That was lunch.

"What are we doing today?"

She stops whatever she thinks she is doing and I decide to take a look around. The place is filled with overgrown grasses but irrespective of that, it still looks as beautiful as the place should... The moors is really beautiful and the creatures which inhabit it are the feys, fairies, dwarfs, pixes and many more.

The feys and fairies have been united a long time ago.

"Human terrorists. Since the supernatural world has decided to show themselves to the human and also open the borders for human tourists, we've had a supply of human terrorists instead."

"I am not surprised. A human who is in need of our technology and funds came to me, only to ask if I will go on a date with him." I scoff. "I don't go on dates."

She walks ahead of me, clearing the path as she walks. "He kinda lost you in that date part. How cute was he, ranging from a one to ten?"

I shrug, making sure to not step on any insects I see. Trixie can be very protective of the insects in her realm, whether it's big or small... or just nasty.

"I'll say an eight."

"Wow, that's a big win for the guy, I guess. He's gonna have a lot of females rushing after him."

"Good for him." I say and she stares at me skeptically.

"You had your fun with someone today, one of the guards?"

I narrow my eyes at her. "When you do that sometimes it's scary. Please don't tap into my head again, my wolf could get anxious."

"Your wolf loves me, she said so herself." Trixie swats her hand in my direction. "Besides, this is my gift. I do whatever I want with my gift."

When we stop at a wooden door with a house attached to it... a house that gives me an odd feeling as the scent of a human slips into my nose.

"Why are we really here, Trixie?" My mood darkens as I watch her open the door. "You told me that we're here because of human terrorists."

"No, I only explained about them. That is our quest for another day. This is a human who can help with your situation."

"I am handling the situation on my own, thanks."

"By telling summer to block her out permanently. That's not going to work, and I still don't know why you won't just accept it."

She acts like it's a big deal under my scurry gaze. It is a big deal. I just don't want to accept it.

When I first got my wolf, I heard a little voice whispering in my head. It grew louder everyday. It even had conversations with me and I got scared. Trixie helped me out at first but after some years, she told me to accept it and so I changed my source.

When a source doesn't give you what you want, you change it to a very secure one which will never leave you disappointed. Uncle Sebastian taught me that.

"How are you sure that he can help?" I have never told anyone about my situation. Only Trixie, Summer and Ronald knows about it. Wolves don't take likely to things they don't understand. Things that are new.

"You'll see, just trust me." She walks in and I am left staring at her back.

"I do trust you but not your nature. You guys have a way of twisting your words." I follow after her, feeling obligated to close the door.

Aunt Minerva used to threaten to drown me in a pool if I didn't close the door when I stepped inside the castle. I was little and the door was much more bigger than me.

The human who lives here doesn't mind to check who comes in. He or she must be very confident of themself to leave their door unlocked.

"Hello?" Trixie begins to call out after we have walked for a while. I stand with my hands crossed as I scan through the place.

The house doesn't look like someone lives in it. It looks partially empty, only with the necessary items a person needs, like a wardrobe, a bed, a nightstand and it is then I figure out that we are in a bedroom.

"You came quickly." The deep voice makes me look back and when I see the human, I am surprised by what I face.

I expected to see a slim male in front of me, not a heavily bulked and a ten out of ten male with a handsome face.

"I came after two months. That not early." Trixie speaks but I am not focused on her. He caught my attention the moment he stepped into my view.

"It's a bit early for me. I was expecting you in maybe a year time." He throws his head back and laughs at his awful attempt of a joke.

I feel obligated to join him in his laughter but I don't, not even when Trixie nudges my arm very hardly. I barely groan, I can only keep my eyes on the human and he stops his laughter. His eyes flicks to us in an awkward manner and he coughs nervously.

"What do you want me to do, ladies."

"What are you doing in this realm. You can be imprisoned for living here without the royal's family consent." That's what I say instead of answering his question.

He doesn't look affected. He just shrugs at me. "This is the feys and fairies' land. I got the consent of the royal princess. I believe that is enough."

"You didn't answer my first question, human."

"If you need my help with your situation then I don't answer that question."

I narrow my eyes when he says this. "You do know that I can pop out your eyeballs in the next second."
