Jaime's question is one I wasn't expecting, thereby have no answer to.

"You haven't answered me Andra" he said

"What are you even talking about?, when did Pam even say that?" I couldn't meet his eyes.

"You know what I'm talking about, because I'm sure you heard her too, there's no way you couldn't have" he said, staring at me,

"Look, I don't know what she was saying, you heard when Tricia said she's acting mad right?, that must be the case, nothing else" I laughed nervously.

"I could hear her thoughts too Andra and she was confused—"

"It's bad manners to listen in on people's thought and you know that" I rolled my eyes, trying to change the topic.

"What could I do?, I don't intend to listen to their thoughts, it was there and I just heard it, I can't stop myself from hearing their thoughts, don't make it sound like it's my fault" he spread his hands.

"If you wanted, you could have stopped yourself from listening to—"

"What is this?, are you trying to make me forget what I was saying?" He frowned.

"I don't know what you're saying" I opened the menu and stared at the things on the list.

"I want to know why Pam said she cut your clothes into pieces and why she was surprised to see you wearing a dress she had destroyed" he said.

"Look, I already told you, she must be imagining things, remember how she acted with you earlier?, I don't want to talk about this please, you're ruining dinner!" I hate the way I pinned what I did earlier on Pam, it wasn't her fault she clung on to him, but then I can't tell Jaime what's happening either,

"OK, I'm sorry" he shrugged.

"Can we order now?, I'm hungry"

"Yes of course" he replied.

The hotel's restaurant looked lovely, the hotel itself, wonderful.

And what made it better was the fact that a wolf owned the place.

"Is the place to your liking Alpha?" Ellie asked

I stared at the beautiful lady and smiled.

"Yes, very much" I replied, I had decided to dine outside tonight,

I wanted to release the tension in my veins and Ellie seem to be the perfect candidate to go out with,

Having many mistresses is an easy thing for me but having a favorite is not so easy and Ellie happen to be my favorite,

What made her special was her ability to make me forget my sorrows, ease my stress and tiredness.

"Then shall we?" She smiled and motioned to the hotel

"I'll like to have something to eat first" I replied her.

"As you wish Alpha" she gave me a stunning smile, hiding her disappointment quite well, I watch her step out of the car and got out as well,

What's the use to delay?

I was so mesmerized by her beauty that it didn't come to me earlier, now that it did, I realized something was wrong.

The rich dark chocolate scent?,

It got stronger as we entered the restaurant,

What's this?, why can't I get that scent out of my head?

"Is everything alright Alpha?" Ellie asked, her brow creased.

"Everything's fine, just looking for a nice table that's all" I smiled down at her.

"Oh the waiter can do that" she said and called a waiter.

"Show us to the table with the best view" she gave him the order,

Seeing as the waiter is a wolf himself, he recognized his Alpha instantly, I waved him away before he could give his greetings.

"If you won't mind sir and ma'am, please follow me" he said respectfully, bowing a little.

"Lead the way" I gave him a nod

He led the way, and we went past a table, I had the utmost urge to turn and look at the couple,, I could perceive the scent strongly now, and I was almost sure she was the girl from the airport.

"Here sir, you'll have the best view of the restaurant from here" he smiled, he was certain of his claims, I sat down and watch Ellie sit gracefully.

"Leave us, we'll call you when we're ready to order" Ellie said to him

"Of course ma'am" he said and was gone.

I picked up the menu and glanced at the list lazily, my mind wasn't on food now, what I want is to see her face,

Shane and Helen would never go against my order, that much is certain,

I stared past Ellie and my gaze collided with a boy's, the girl's back was to me, so I couldn't see her face,

I watch the boy say something to her and left, I tried to listen to her thoughts but that was a dead end, I couldn't hear anything from her, is it that she isn't thinking of anything at the moment or I can't really listen to her thoughts?

I was aware of him the moment he stepped into the room, though I didn't look at him or see what he looked like, I just felt his presence and scent steal my senses.

He smelt like rain and ice cream, that sounds strange even to me, but then I've always loved ice cream and rain.

I could hear the waiter and the lady speaking, actually the lady did the talking while the waiter listened and did as he was told, the lady has the scent of peaches and I dislike peaches so automatically I dislike her as well.

"Why are you staring at him?" I asked Jaime, who stared at him like he wasn't going to stop staring at him.

"He's a wolf" He replied

"I know" I said softly so they won't hear,

Wolves have better hearing than humans and they could hear the smallest things around them.

"And I've seen him before" Jaime continued.

"How's that possible?" I whispered

'At the airport, he's the guy I told you about and he's staring back at me right now' this time he didn't say the words out loud but told me through our mind link.

'Why do you think he's staring at you?' I asked him.

'I don't know that, if he's who I think he is then we're done for' he replied

'Who do you think he is?, and why are we done for?, we've done nothing wrong' I frowned slightly.

'I think he's an Alpha and I think he's here to get us' he replied.

'C'mon, not everyone's out to get us, in fact nobody's out to get us' I rolled my eyes.

'Do you know, most of the waiters here are wolves?' He asked

"Yes I realized that but—"

'And maybe the Alpha's here to check us out, just think about it, he could have chosen any table here but he chose the one nearest to ours, do you know what that means?'

'No I don't' I shrugged, Jaime's going out of his mind,

'It means that they can capture us right now, present us before the elders of their pack and then we'll be in real trouble' he explained, I still didn't get it,

'But why will they even do that?, it ridiculous, we're—'

'We're trespassers remember?'

I finally understood what he was trying to say.

'What do we do now?' I was honestly worried now, I was trying to stay out of trouble and stay low key but it seem like, trouble's determined to find me!

'Stay here' Jaime got up

'Where are you going?

'I'm going to have a talk with Principal Anderson and have our food sent up to our room' he explained

'Why?'

'We've got to get out of here and fast' he replied

'OK'

'Wait what?, our room?, we stay in different rooms' I said but he wasn't listening, he has closed his mind link, I was tempted to get into his head and make him open it, but then it wouldn't be right.

Jaime came back to our table looking upset, he was trying not to look at the Alpha, good thing I wasn't facing him, I'm sure I would have wetted my panties in fear.

'What's wrong?' I asked him

'I managed to get room service to deliver our food order in my room but Principal Anderson forbids us to stay in the same room, he thinks we're up to no good' he replied.

'Stay in the same room?, why are we staying in the same room?, I'm not staying in your room' I frowned, the idea of staying with a male in a room overnight isn't cool.

'We can't stay in different rooms, that'll make it easier for them and I'm feeling so weird right now, he's staring at me and won't stop staring' Jaime shifted in his chair nervously.

'Oh I see, but you could've simply entered the Principal's head and make him do what you want' I raised a hand in question, wondering why he didn't do that, yes maybe it's wrong but if he doesn't do that now, we'll be in some real trouble.

'I can only listen to people's thoughts, I can't make them do what I want' he stared at me weirdly
