Chapter 69

Crescent could already tell by the time that he had gotten back to the pack cave that Bane wasn't in a great mood. Many of the lower rank werewolves were acting strange and Aster was standing outside of the cave and seemed bothered. 

"What is it this time?" He asked the beta as he approached. He didn't mind going in since he knew his brother wouldn't hurt him. The other shrugged his shoulders at him. 

"Something to do with this unclaimed mate I believe." The other replied. He didn't have much of a clue as he didn't bother asking the alpha before vacating the space. He would rather keep his life than risk asking a question that might upset the other. 

"I'll go talk with him and see what is up. Have you guys managed to find any leads on Ash? That might help to make his mood better." One of the other werewolves scoffed at this. Crescent knew his name was Eagle.
