Bane had to hold Divo back from marching over to their mate and demanding she explain herself. She. Was. His. She wasn't supposed to be going on dates with other people. What exactly was this nonsense? 

The werewolf's blood boiled at the thought of any other male being within a ten foot radius of her. God forbid anyone dared to touch her. The alpha would personally rip them limb from limb and let them die a slow death to make anyone else think twice about approaching his mate to try and court her. 

['Ah, but we can't actually do anything right though, can we?'] he mentally asked Divo whom he could feel pacing back and forth inside his head. He wanted answers that he couldn't get and the human side of him had no intention of relinquishing control and allowing the other to create a scene.
