35 The youngest elder in the Empire
"Hereby, I announce the end of the final exam!"
Elder's voice echoed around the arena. With his announcement, the exam and "Fighting League" has come to an end.

Only two participants were able to win all of their matches. This proved that the first group of participants' battle experience was much weaker than the other three. Their fights last longer too, as well as many of them ended up in draws.

The second group has a lot of talents and hidden gems. There were a lot of interesting and fierce battles. There were battles that ended in a flash or some unique way. Unfortunately, this group was the harshest group of all. Time difference also played a huge role, there were many cases where two rankers had about a one or three seconds difference.
"Child of Maid", Xia Yue got the seventh rank, while Lin Tian got the third.
Furthermore, many talents were unable to fight after receiving injuries, so they ended up losing. Huan was also among these unlucky fellows. His rank dropped a lot and his final rank was 313. He didn't even know what to do. But what made him happy was his savior "Angel" sister passed the exam. But it added some salt to his injury, but he didn't show it outside.

The third group of people was able to perform well than expected. Their fights were truly like real cultivators. Yan Yao who is at the second level of the Spirit Disciple Stage dominated the rankings by a huge margin. He used 20 seconds on average in every fight, and this showed how powerful and talented he is.
The time difference between the first and the second ranks was approximately 1 minute. But it would have been shorter if the second ranker, Xia Ling ended her fight earlier.
But her last opponent was much more powerful even though she was at the first level of the same Stage. That opponent was Xu Luli. Her overall ranking dropped only 3 ranks but she passed the test, it was all that mattered to her.
In fact, she was feeling anxious about Huan all the time when fighting against Xia Ling so maybe this was one of the reasons she lost, only she knows about it.
Finally, the last group which consisted of three participants rankings were like this:

As it was said these three participants only fought with each other, showcasing their abilities and talent. Their only reason to fight was to attract the elders' attention, and maybe one of them did. Tang Li won both his two matches splendidly using his powerful techniques, battle experience, and cultivation level.
Surprisingly, he broke through to the 4th level after his match with Shen Ling. It lasted for two whole minutes. He was able to win only using his hidden trump card. And he directly started to break through after the match ended. Maybe he was enlightened in the match or he wanted to show off in front of the elders so he was limiting his breakthrough.
Sun He was the unluckiest of all, he matched against angry Shen Ling, and she savagely attacked him causing him to have trauma deep etched in his heart, named "The Demoness Shen Ling", and he woved to never approach this 'demoness' while she is angry.
As if this wasn't enough, his second match was also against Tang Li who has already in the 4th level of the Spirit Disciple Stage.
In summary, the "Fighting League" did its work wonderfully.
