Huan was surprised when the emergency quest was updated instead of being completed. His rewards got bigger while Huan's possibility of dying declined, but it was still here. He also didn't know what System Off meant but he was sure he couldn't be able to use the system which was unacceptable.

He also sensed Ye Chen's presence when Lin Tian stopped by insulting him. However, he paid no mind as he was sure someone would take care of it instead, after one month...

"You may prepare for the battle." Ye Chen said.

Yuan told Huan to watch the battle carefully and wait for him below.

Then he read the new quest's content. After completing his lips curled up indicating he was amused.

He then gave something to Huan and murmured something to him. Huan also nodded his head.

Lin Hong used his family's sword technique and attacked Yuan. His sword shot out a slash beam at an incredible speed. It tore apart through the air without much resistance. But the technique's name was a bit exaggerated or he didn't master it yet.

The sword beam reached Yuan and... disappeared...

"What? How could you defend that? Then take this. Lin Family Technique: Fifth Attack --> Heaven and Earth Slicing!" Ling Hong used yet another move of the same technique after seeing his attack was unsuccessful.

This time the three sword beams appeared and they were faster and stronger than the last one. They reached Yuan in three seconds and-

Boom!

A shockwave sounded in the arena.

"Hahaha! Now you get what that is for underestimating me! Hahaha!" Ling Hong started to laugh. He was sure this time his attack injured Yuan.

Suddenly the dust flew away and revealed the figure who was standing in a dome that was made out of the wind.

"How! That was my family's strongest technique!" Lin Hong shouted after seeing Yuan who was standing where he was, without moving an inch.

"Arggh! Now you have angered me! I must take out the artifact!" Lin Hong muttered and a new sword appeared in his hands.

The sword was emitting a strong and strange aura, it was ghastly.

"Fire Ghost King Sword! Lend me your strength and devour my enemy's soul!..." Ling Hong chanted strange words in his mind, gripping the ghostly sword tightly in his hands whose name was also Fire Ghost King Sword.

Slowly a lot of spirit power gathered into Ghost Sword's blade, then it engulfed in fire.

Lin Hong ran toward Yuan with all the speed he had. {I need to be fast... This sword is absorbing my spirit power like crazy... If it ends... It will consume my life...}

As he thought his spirit was being sucked in by the sword and becoming fire. The more it sucked the more the fire became larger, hotter, and deadlier.

"Wind Slicing Fire Sword!" Lin Hong shouted as he attacked with a sword that was engulfed in fire.

Swish!

His sword instantly touched the wind dome and... it sliced through it. Seeing that, Yuan's expression changed into a slightly astonished one.

Lin Hong managed to catch that expression while he was attacking. He instantly became happy, his sword shattered Yuan's defense, and also he was about to win.

However, the reality was cruel...

The moment fire entered the dome another dome appeared again. Surprisingly the ghostly fire also tore through that dome. But, it happened again, the new dome was slightly colorful and the wind was slowly moving...

The fire barely was able to slice that dome and when it reached Huan's body... nothing happened fire disappeared... Also, the sliced place in the dome was already regenerated. So the other fire was trapped in the layers of three wind domes.

"You have got a nice sword there... But can you use it any longer?" Lin Hong heard a cold voice he instantly looked at Yuan. Yuan was smiling at him calmly.

"Now, it's my turn to attack, right?" Yuan spoke and prepared to attack.

"Brother! Take out the Defence Talisman!" Lin Hong heard his brother's voice and he instantly took out the talisman from his storage ring.

"You can't pass through this talisman's defense! You won't! Hahaha! It's my win" Lin Hong shouted as he was sure he would win.
