64 Volume 3 Episode 14: Destiny

Meiz moved closer to Lin, until she was right in front of his face. She then whispered softly in his ears.

"He wants you to destroy a world to increase his powers. And after he gets what he wanted, he'll definitely dispose you. So I would advise you to be more careful."

Lin looked into Meiz's eyes. He wanted to figure out if she was lying or not. 

"Does it matter to you that much whether I'm lying or not?"

Meiz asked Lin. She had been reading his mind, and had found out that he wanted to know if she was truthful to him or not.

"Well, a woman who can read other people's minds can manipulate anyone if she tried, so I feel like my suspicions are justified."

Lin answered back, and Meiz nodded her head, indicating that she understood where he was coming from. Lin was someone who didn't wish to be controlled, so it would make sense for her to make him think that The Man Upstairs was using him as a disposable pawn, so he'd turn against him.
