Cause and Effect(part-3)

The fiery hero was on the ground, heavily injured. Although he wanted to get up and fight, his body was telling him that he couldn't handle the stress anymore!

"No! I can't let this happen! I can't let the innocent die from the evils of evil doers! I must get up! I must go on! I must win!"

With those motivational words said, he placed his heavily damaged arms on the grounds as he tried to stand up. But to no avail! His hands gave up mid way causing him to fall. But he didn't stop! No, no, he couldn't stop! As long as evil doers drew breath, so must he!

With that he pushed himself up from the ground, almost falling at times but he never gave up! He never gave in! As that was the true essence of a hero! With that thought, the flames around his body grew in ferocity as they seem to have gained sentience as they lashed out on their own. The heat emitting from his body almost seemed suffocating.

With a light tap on the ground, he was propelled through the air. Faster than he has ever been before! And due to his flames being hotter and much more violent, with his exit came a picture of a peaceful garden burning in red flames!

The robber flew at his maximum speed away from the shrine. He flew to a location that was close by and had a dense population as well as a location that held a tactical advantage to himself. But before he could get to such a location, he heard a yell!

"Stop right there you bastard!!!" yelled the fiery hero as he quickly closed the gap between him and the robber. The robber turned around as he shot lightning bolts trying to obstruct the hero. But alas, his efforts were futile as the hero maneuvered around his attacks. Increasing his speed to the max, the fiery hero closed the gap between him and the robber in minutes.

"DAMN YOU!!! JUST FUCK OFF!!!" yelled the robber as he continued to dish out lightning strikes. But the hero was too fast as he slipped past all of them by a narrow margin.

After reaching arm's length from the robber, the fiery hero burst with even more flames as it propelled him even further! Grabbing the leg of the robber, the hero concentrated all his power on the flames around the hand which he used to grab the man while he tugged the robber's leg towards himself.

Feeling the intense burning sensation, the robber couldn't even cry out in pain as he was ruthlessly tugged backward by an immense force. Quickly throwing a lightning bolt towards the hero, the robber tried to free his leg. But the grip was like iron!

And to make matters worse, the fire had started to spread across the body of the robber making him endure intense pain!

'I need to make some distance between us, as well as put out the fire!' thought the robber as his mind raced for any solutions, and a solution is what he got!

While he was fighting off the hero, out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glance of a lake that lay next to a beautiful park.

"A lake? A-a La-K-E!!!!"

With that, he drew towards the lake with all the power he had, while at the same time he continuously shot out lightning bolts. Having the hero too preoccupied to notice his surroundings.

Peter had been sitting on the park bench overlooking a lake for a couple of minutes as he guessed how the effects of the cause he had implemented would come about. But cutting off his train of thought, he heard sounds of fighting as well as flashes of light coming from behind him.

But before he could turn around and observe, like a shooting star a fiery figure as well as a badly beaten figure dove into the lake at lightning speed, causing an abundant amount of water vapor to rise into the air with a trace of a golden aura!
