Chapter 581: Legeremancy (Edited)

Thursday's classes were full once again, coupled with the gloomy but never rainy weather, most of the students spent the time groggy and fatigued.

Not among them, of course, was Fish, who spent most of the day sleeping.

"Come in." Snape stepped aside and the cat entered with a graceful, feline stride.

"The Oblivion potion will take a while to be ready, and Draco won't be here for a while." Snape closed the door and walked briskly to Fish's side, saying, "I'll start by explaining the spell to you."

Fish jumped into a chair and crouched down to look at Snape.

"Fish, Professor." Malfoy walked in.

Snape stopped what he was doing, pulled out his wand and cast a soundproof spell, then approached the two.

"Fish, you will cast Legeremancy on Draco as I just taught you." He didn't say any words, it was to the point as usual. "And Draco, I believe you remember what I taught you."

"Yes, Professor." Malfoy looked a little nervous as he repeated the key points of Occlumency. "Remove distractions, empty your mind and abandon all feelings."

"Very good," Snape nodded approvingly, then looked at Fish and said, "Then begin."

As Snape had taught earlier, eye contact was crucial to Legeremancy.

So Fish stood in front of Draco, wide-eyed and staring him straight in the eye.

Draco, for his part, was trying to empty his head of as many thoughts as he could, but the thought of Fish knowing something embarrassing about himself, and the possibility of him accidentally spreading it, made Malfoy's mind wander.

"Focus, Draco!" Snape frowned, sternly reminding him, "Fish just learned Legeremancy, what are you worried about?!"

Just then, Fish waved the wand he was holding as well....
