You Okay?

"Okay, here we go" Yui said, looking at Fred who was facing him. They were in the living room with Fred seated on the couch while Yui was seated on the ground, his hands on the center table.

Yui was holding a cooking knife. He was going to use it to cut his hand and draw blood into the cup on the center table.

They were this quiet because they couldn't afford Chris and Zijie finding out. Though it wasn't that early as planned, they still managed to go on as planned.

Why they didn't begin early as planned, it was all Yui's fault. They ended up sharing a room together because Zijie said he didn't want to share a room with Yui. The reason, he said none but Chris seemed to know because he accepted to be Zijie's roommate without a second thought.

Now, coming back to why they started their plan late. They decided to begin early in the morning at 5am but it was now 7:30am. All Yui's fault. He wouldn't wake up no matter what Fred did.

He only woke up when Fred threw a glass of cold water on him. You can imagine what he went through considering it was also icy cold.

The guy was shivering like crazy until he bathed with hot water which reduced the amount of coldness he was feeling. He was okay now, not only with the help of the hot water but also his natural powers. He wasn't entirely human, remember?

Coming back to the present, Yui once again shared a look with Fred before cutting his left palm. He placed down the knife, clenched a fist and brought his hand to the cup, filling the cup with his blood.

The cup was filled full before the wound on Yui's palm begun to heal.

The wound completely healed, Yui cleaned the dropped blood on the table with a napkin he brought before they started the whole process.

He went to the kitchen, cleaned the napkin, leaving not even a single stained of blood, hang it on the napkin hanger in the kitchen before coming back.

He once again sat down on the floor, sighing. Shit! He so tired. Getting rid of evidence after a crime was so hard! He thought.

"Done" he thought Fred who smiled at him. "Good job" Fred said. "Your red wine, mister" Yui said, waving over the glass of blood. Fred smile as he said, "Thank you. Remember me to tip you when I'm leaving"

"Oh, my, mister, you don't know how happy I am to hear that, please make it worth my work" Fred laughed before responding, "Don't worry, I will" They both burst out laughing.

Reminding an important question, Fred exited from the world of laughter before asking, "Oh, right, what's going to happen after I take the blood?"

"Shit!! I almost forgot! We can't do this here" Yui exclaimed in horror. Fuck! He almost committed a huge mistake. "Why not?" Fred asked with a questioning look.

"Let's go, I will tell you" Yui said and got up, taking the cup which contained his blood.

Walking in the forest to get far away from the house, Yui answered Fred's question.

"You see, after taking the blood, you will go through some panic attack. We can't have you creating a commotion in the house or, you know the rest" Fred nodded, understanding what Yui meant.

"It would be scandal if Chris finds out" Fred said with a horrified look. He couldn't even think of what Chris would do to him if he found out about him.

"Makes me wonder, why hasn't Cris said anything to him?" Yui asked, drawing Fred's attention as he stopped before Yui who had stopped in his steps, and turned to face him. Thinking about what Yui just said. It was a very sensible question. Why hadn't Cris said anything to Chris?

"Cris is a very powerful demon. His senses are sharper than any demon I have every met. I'm pretty sure he knows about you" Yui had known Cris for centuries. Though he wasn't really close to those times, he had rumors about him which Recal who was close to Cris proved they were true.

He only became close to Cris when he joined Relly's group as a spy. That was on every full moon when Cris came out. He didn't always come out on every full moon but whenever he did, he spent time with Yui as he was the only one who didn't fear him and who also wasn't busy.

"You're right" Fred said and turned to face ahead. He continued to walk with Yui following but it didn't take long for Yui to be walking beside him.

"Maybe he's on my side" Fred replied. "Or maybe he doesn't want Chris to through whatever emotions he will go through when he finds out about" Yui responded, shrugging. Fred glance at his direction, sighed and faced up ahead.
