Chapter seven

Fern

Warm hands rubbed against me, each touch with so much gentleness the sparks growing stronger and better than the last.

And I didn't know why I had this weird attraction towards him, I craved for his attention, I wanted to be closer, even when I was so much frightened by his presence.

Maybe because I was locked up and haven't seen any one but him, I could hardly remember how long I had spent here,

And right now I was in between his strong legs, Xenia's legs, while my scared little eyes glued on the floor to afraid to even breathe.

"little Fern, have you heard me?" Xenia questioned as he silently whispered in my ears, just then making me flush red as his tongue licked the peak of my ears.

Gathering all my little courage, I leaned closer to his dominating figure, my weak and fragile heart harshly crying in my chest,

I was so scared and intimidated but yet so attracted to his request,

Due to the pressure I chocked, my breath getting caught right into my aching chest as I felt his warm lips on mine, tingles erupting at the slight impact, it felt so right and good that all my fears faded.

I jog following behind his huge figure, as I try to keep up with each long strides he took, to afraid that if I walked any slower I might get lost in this unknown place with the predator creatures.

After walking on the empty hallway for so long Xenia finally stops, voicing out for me to come, I stepped forward from behind his big figure, now then standing right next to him.

I don't dare look up from the frighteningly white, shiny floor, because the fear in my guts, the atmosphere felt so unique and different just by the smell, the air and the cold temperature.

"Follow," ordered Xenia as he walked passed me leading the way.

"Do you know why you here?" Xenia asked me when I stopped in my tracks suddenly feeling the overwhelming air as we moved farther, I vigorously shock my head as to his question, I had no idea why I was in this scary place.

"I don't speak mute," I heard as he whispered back not sounding angry at all but it still scared me, "no" I quickly replied using my words.

"You are here to become stronger," my wide eyes immediately left the floor to meet his which were looking passed me.

Alex

Lia pressed strange numbers on her alien watch, then out of no where blue lines appeared in space as it the went green, a voice came saying something I didn't understand, "transmission accepted," and then within a blink we were on another airship, a highly small one,

I released a heavy breath as I held the crying Emily tightly closer to me, she was now the only family I was left with, our little sister, Fern was gone, we had no idea what happened to her, or whether she was still alive or not.

"Alex, it's all my fault I couldn't protect her, I watched her being taken away from me, I am so weak, I couldn't protect her," Emily cried, I wanted to cry along with her but I had to be strong for both of us, maybe even Fern, she might still be alive out there and I had to find her.

"So what now," I asked looking at Lia, who had her attention already forced on me, her beautiful raven hair flowing down her chest, bright hazel eyes, honey skin, she was the most beautiful, bravest being I had ever laid my eyes on,

And she was all mine, mine to love and protect, my mate, even though she was an alien, or specifically the creatures who invaded our world, earth, I couldn't bring myself to reject her or is it just that it was not an option, I had to forgive her.

And their was this feeling that made me feel guilty and useless, I knew they were going to look for her and take her back dead or alive and I was no match for them, I couldn't protect her, she was a traitor, a fugitive to her people twice for helping me and my people.

She looked down at me, her hazel eyes daring yet I could see through that strong mask, she was scared, afraid of the future, afraid of the unknown and lastly afraid what we were messing with.

"We stay hidden," she said, then walking away from me, from us.

Xenia

His feet clicked on the floor slightly as he was not yet even in sight but I could already hear that unpleasant sound he made on the floor with each step, the sounds were angry, scared, disappointed and failed.

The mixing of chemical was anything but conflicting as they collided together just to make me watch in fascination, I set it on back on the table, as I took off the white Lab coat and glanced at the big glass which was showing just how much of this planet was destroyed, and I was the cause of it, I kind of felt a bit of pity.

"Tell me Axis," I asked not bothering to turn and face him as he appeared in my presence,

"I am sorry, my Lord," Axis started, with his normal pleas of failure as always sounding low and disputed.

How pathetic can he be

I slightly tilted my head at the side, still not wanting to glance at him but I gave him half of my attention to waste,

"And why are you sorry Axis, what is your mistake," I asked calmly waiting for a reply, this has almost became a routine.

"I failed you, they escaped without me noticing," he said sounding so guilty and disappointed in himself just like every time, nothing new.

Turning my head to his direction, my eyes are met with his guilty ones, and just by looking I saw what he was doing at that moment.

"Okay," I said, registering the information which I already knew and taking my head back to it's point of interest.

"And what were you doing when they escaped?" I asked a question I already had an answer, my voice so quiet that anything with a low hearing sense would not have heard it.

"I …I was..we… with a female…my..mate.." Axis replied stammering with each word, even though he had failed and disappointed me countless of times, I trusted him, maybe because I knew to much.

"Okay," I whispered as I remain emotionless and unmoved, I wasn't angry I was never angry but at least disappointed,

Axis stood behind me not getting the message to leave as he waited for my orders on the matter of Lia and her loyal servants, but I had no plans of finding them because I knew where they were hiding.

"Your are dismissed,"

As I sat in the empty lab with no one but myself, a smirk graced my features,

They thought they could escape from my grasp as much as they wished, and even had the audacity to think I wasn't powerful to know where they were.

Let them hide as much as they wished, I will make them think they could hide from me.

Just until my fierce weapon is done.
